For safety. prevent the nuts securing the wheels from being loosen over time if regular check gets missed out, which may cause the rim to come off the bus

Citaros are just jinxes. Remember the time where a svc 52 bus lose way and stuck passengers for 2 hours? That bus is also a Citaro!!!

Probably there is a change in the air-condition model.

No matter what safety precautions they take, Citaros are still very dangerous.

Dangerous???? 33 million $ per bus and dangerous?????

Citaros are not dangerous mind you,It's the driver leg,Hand and mindset are dangerous.Give you safe bus but your mindset is like a hooligan also can accident and breakdown what. The Citaros are equipped with ABS disc brakes etc.Im an ex bus driver before and therefore I know what I'm saying.

No matter what, Scania K230UBs are better than Citaros to my opinion.
I'd just mentioned that Citaros are jinxes which caused many mishaps in the past few months.

ya, you and your superb logic again. so perhaps none of the operators should be buying Citaros at all, including SMRT that you think should get 150 more.

The Citaros I'm referring to are SBST's only. I follow the context of Sgwiki, when you type in Citaros (without SBST or SMRT), it showed SBST Citaros' details only.

If SBS5010P is right, then I will hope that the first Citaro G bus will begin revenue service after been registered.

You deem Citaros to be dangerous, and since both operators have the same interior config less the number of seats, I don't see why your superb reasoning applies for SBST Citaros only. By your reasoning, I can also say that since many Habits have caught fire over the years, all should be scrapped and bendies to be phased out. Just trying to show how contradictory and fallacious your arguments are.
