Not sure if you're dumb or ignorant, but
1) Citaros appeared long ago on Sv 15. The Sv 518 Citaros have been doing Sv 15 alternately almost on average at least once per week for months before his post. Don't believe me? Go and scroll back to mid Pg 60s or something and you will find my post somewhere about this, in between the flame wars. LOL.
2) If you're talking about 6223K being out, it came out long ago too on the roads.
3) I see no big deal in 6223K being 1st time doing Sv 15 though.

Most likely is that C&C wants to clear the buses as soon as they can to SBST to make space for their new delivery of new trucks and vans in their premises.

if your assumption is based on registration date, then you're wrong. for many many months now the number of completed yet registered wrights has been consistent or even increase. just factor in some manhours, assembly line efficiency etc you can work out if work did not stop since a certain point of time (which i think is Q3 2010), the rest of the calculation is history.

Don't think single decker will be the King Long. It will remain as European make, most likely will be Citaro C2 or else SBST is willingly to try out MAN buses. -

Do we actually need many DD buses? With the DTLs opened by 2018 and other MRT line buliding soon. I think SBST should buy bus that can carry 90 people or less. Citaro is one such bus carry 90 people. or other brand like MAN bus

No matter what, there will still be people who prefer to take bus than MRT. MRT can never replace buses as well. MRT break down, how???
And we can't build MRT everywhere too and it is very expensive to build and maintain one, plus population will still increase in the future. MRT alone cannot cope with the increasing demand.
