I think 325 really becoming jumpbus.
Got many new BCs drive 325 for a few days before doing long-haul routes like 147.

Rosters change every week, all BCs rotate different duties on the start of every week. Perm buses normally stick to the same time slot with different BCs on duty.
Most probably the newer BCs familiarise with the short haul routes first before they are put to the long haul ones.

Yes, there is one uncle which drove SBS1937S 2 times a few weeks ago and my mother recongnises him. He said that he will continue to drive 3 more times before heading on to trunk services.
The usual uncles seems to be gone - got 1 of them I saw was doing 119 and 101 instead.
Now, only 1 remain.

How about 3072Z? Is it still on sv168? Seen it running on sv10 and most recently sv197. Cheers.

Any Voith Wright on 168 would most likely be kicked out sooner by the SL cause they are really damn slow and cannot cope with the pace and frequency during peak hours. So it wouldn't be surprising if 3072Z gets kicked out from 168 to 10, seems very likely already from what i can tell.
The only reason why 3008K is still on 168 is because it has that MDIS ad contract. Otherwise 7569G would have went over from 17 to 168 for the swap already.

Actually initially when 3072Z was brought to BN, for few weeks it was stuck to sv10, possibly a temp perm before wrights were sent to it from AR. Cant tell much about 3072Z status cos Im not around where sv168 route is.
Voith cant really feel its sluggishness on a wright from what I feel but it does have a difference on a mark Iv dm. Can tell that ZF more suited for high speeds and it picks up fast. A voith on a Dm can feel its strain when at higher revs as though its band has been stretched. My 2cents worth. ![]()

I think the sluggishness has more to do with the gear ratios on the new Voith Wrights compared to those CDGE B9s that have Voith gearboxes. The newer Voith gearbox on the Wrights just doesn't seem to allow the turbo in the bus to spool up enough to propel the bus forward before cutting off, the revs are being cut off earlier than what I see in the CDGE Voith B9s.
You can tell that the difference in the turbo boost and revs just by listening to them acclerating out. I mean yes, the official engine specs from Volvo will say the B9TL engine will rev to a certain RPM before cutting out, but the Voith gearbox seems to cut off the revs in each gear much earlier than the ZF Wrights or the Voith CDGEs.
I feel most Voith buses can run on expressways..ZF tend to pick up faster so in layman terms the top speed is sacrificed..Correct me if I'm wrong and can ask Dave about this
Furthermore in Sg both co won't compromised on buses that can go beyond 70kmh.If d bus are caught speeding of over 70 bus have to go for inspection. They are allowed up to 65kmh allowances excluding paxs.Youll think suka suka bus can run 80 deploy on 161/168 eh?Mostly these cases are unreported one for d benefits of the perm BCs/SLs

Hmm, that's for the top speed portion, but the sluggishness of the Voith Wrights has more to do with picking up speed from standstill and the distance in between stops. Do you happen to know if they purposely made the 1st gear more lethargic?

ok ! tks ! and this is the first WRIGHT to perm on this svc !

SBS3044E.
New buses camo a lot. They will soon settle quietly on a fixed bus services once it is no longer the newest 50 buses registered.
