MB O405 (WA) on training for Townlink 222 drivers

According to one of our informers, he saw a unidentified MB O405 WA going along TL 222 route with TRAINING BUS desto on. Also, Scania N113 were seen in Ang Mo Kio Int and Hougang Ave 8. Speculated that bus swopping might occur soon.

Yes, too much Scania buses in the east, SBST should distribute somemore of them to the north and west. Bus swapping is becoming more common nowsaday. I see SBST 30 getting more Scania buses than before.
Next, how do you know that the training bus is plying along TL 222 route, I mean, the desto 222 is not displayed right? -

Hmm, I do not mind Scanias in Central district, better to ride them before they disappear for good in 2-3 years. I don't mind DM3500 Mk IV B10Ms as well!

Toa Payoh feeder 231 has been dominated by O405. Do you guys think that the MB on svc 231 will be exchanged with N113 of svc 222?

Some of the Scania N113s might be converted to training buses. Those spotted along AMK/Hougang might just be the ones covering for the Nissan Diesels which are phasing out soon. Therefore, not all the Scanias might be moving after all.

Not necessarily. Sv. 231 was predominantly Scania fleet, SBS 31L and the others got transferred to BNDEP, and O405s took over. For O405s to get swapped back to N113CRBs is unfeasible as the buses shouldn't have been transferred in the first place for that case.Originally posted by off_service:Toa Payoh feeder 231 has been dominated by O405.
