A bus inspector was punched and kicked in the face by an angry passenger who had an expired ticket on Friday night.
The incident happened in full view of other passengers on a crowded SBS Transit bus service 80 along Hougang Avenue 10 at about 11.10pm.
Passengers said the assailant, who wore a black shirt and pants and had a tattoo on his left arm, boarded the bus at Lorong 5 Geylang.
The commotion started when the inspector, 52, asked to look at the man’s ez-link card. But the man produced an expired ticket instead.

Truth to be told, misleading the public and having SBS Transit to clarify that there was no fire, scandalous?

According to a report on omy.sg, the wheel flew some 5 metres and landed at the bus stop near Bedok Bus Interchange on Sep 12.
The STOMPer wrote: "Bus fans must take care about their own safety if they want to film or snap anything.
"The wheel dislodge accident proves it.
"If the wheel gets hot enough it may explode or fly off and the bus fan filming could get injured or killed.
"Are bus fans so desperate for popularity on Facebook they would risk their own lives?"

Again, dangerous bus fans risking safety for photos of themselves with bus.
"STOMPer Martin wonders why bus enthusiasts would put themselves in harm's way just to take a photo with buses.
The thought came to him after he saw a photo of a bus fan posing in front of the public transportation vehicle, and he feels the youth may get hit from behind if a car were to hit the bus from behind.
In his report, the STOMPer wrote:
"Spotted this photo of a bus fan, whom I believe is from the bus fan group on Facebook known as 'Singapore Buses' who risk their lives for photos and videos.
"This bus fan can be seen posing for a photo in front of a bus while standing on the road near the Marina Centre Bus Terminal, which is known to have heavy traffic along there.
"There is a very high possibility a vehicle can rear-end this bus, and result in this youth getting hit without any warning, and sustaining significant injury.
"Why are these reckless youths risking their safety for photos over and over again and why are their parents not educating them?""

There have been plenty of cases of people getting killed by vehicles because they were behind, and in the blind spot.
NSF killed fellow NSF when he reversed into him against the pillar....
All it takes is just for a gear to engage, or the brakes to fail, or just plain careless driving.
And for SMB66X, please eat your words.
Driverless bus rolls out of interchange and onto road
There was also another case where the brakes failed for a truck at a private estate. The fella had to buang the truck at a drain to prevent any danger to people...
Your name is WeiTeck right?
Weiteck haven't eat your words ![]()

Very easy point fingers, when the apparent image is seems to be available freely on the internet and can be found by many public members. ![]()
want scapegoat someone again, try harder. Didn't Izzul Haziq aka TIB868X claim everything about safety, and got the public to be very wary of every bus enthusiasts through STOMP? ![]()

STOMPer Amy sent in this photo of yet another bus fan risking his life by taking a photo behind a bus at an interchange.
Many concerned STOMPers have alerted STOMP to the risks that these bus enthusiasts put themselves in, just to take photos of buses.

How does Mark Chua and BIS even come into the picture, when the public can write anything they want? Last i checked, that fire post was almost 50 + shares by Singapore Buses, public has different intepretation the video.
SPT should be moderating their SMB388S account, no matter how they deny it, explain TIB745S, IDGAF, ghost79 an SMB228X who appears to be followers of the Singapore Buses. From BIS's one of the post, Izzul Haziq mentioned to one of his friends that they are doing all this nonsense "to make people feel guilty and kick him out of the hobby"?
Shame on this bus fan
their safety record stinks to high heavens. Not to mention in an attempt act of desperation posing for photos and videos, ignore bus captain warning to stay away from a fire.
no wonder i hear whistleblowing some guy and his lackeys was said to be the right move ![]()

maybe some people act of desperation want attention, after sponsor and pay to catch up with likes, do this at the background then try to point fingers.
Apparently it's damn obvious somebody is just trying to make a big mess again
Mark Chua ah, drink more milk can? Everyday snap bus, can see no future one
Come on la, it's damn obvious already. Too fantastic already, it seems like you are the one that never learn your lesson haha
You wouldn't pour out all the names if you are not Mark Chua...haha.. BIS not enough likes is it? Or snap bus too boring? Go back kindergarten learn ABC, that would keep ur boring time meaningful

Anyway, another obvious point :
First bolded phrase : Like that everyone is in serious shit already, there's more than hundred people standing in the bus interchange everyday
And so obvious that this Stomper is just trying to get the person and the whole community expose to public.
Second Bolded phrase : These words are more to be mentioning this Mark Chua user, for stomping others.
