What to do?Anyway SBST Feeders and Townlinks also have many single deckers.Its a matter of tweaking the frequencies,SMRT look like got many buses but in fact most is only split shift duties or even worse a couple of ghost duties(Not enough standby BCs to cover).Thats why i stressed out that SMRT only wayang add buses here but in reality only a few duties unoperated.
Worse to worse they have to kapo at least 30 OCs for their feeders and intratowns back up.

In my opinion, I think 960 needs to make sure the AP fleet is fully WAB, currently, there are 7 DD and 6 rigids (and 4 A24s), hence, 8 more DDs are required to ensure that during off peak, each bus arriving is WAB accessible and replacing the bendies which could be used for feeder services instead, the remaining S1 and S2 shift slots could be used for O405Gs and A22s only.
IIRC, I read somewhere that there was one occasion where 911E had an ADL special deployment cameo, maybe 911 can get a few DDs as there aren't enough A24s for all the feeder services and 858.

Those 4 A24s should be for the feeders not 960,another bad move by SMRT

DDs tried before, ever since before 1998's change to VO2X in 300 and 307 released from 190 when more fully air-con double deckers were introduced. DDs also temporary cameo in 302 this year, most likely from 67.
DDs were on 300, 307, 911, 941, 947 before. But most likely 941 and 947 do have length restrictions (I cannot remember), so SDs were used from 2000 onwards as SMRT/Tower Transit.

307/307E cannot deploy bendy due to a tight left turn at Teck Whye... but then i can propose bendies on 307E that only runs the YewTee side (this practise was done during SG50 National Day, so prolly SMRT can consider doing it again?)
