This time around you sound a bit logic though cant confirm which one is LTA eyeing for the three doors DD.But i would think MAN will win it.

There won't be anymore bendy buses in future. Future fleet procurements will only be single and double deckers as LTA aims to pharse out these long buses within the next decade to standardise fleets to make GCM operations easier.
For the next few years, Woodlands feeders will get more single deckers to improve their frequencies once Yishun feeders are tendered out to another operator. Whether when they will get double decker fleets will depend on when LTA is going to bring in the 3 door double deckers. There is also a possiblity that LTA will introduce 1 or 2 new services to reduce the load of those overloaded feeders in future.
LTA wanted full WAB in 2020, then says no to Bendies, yet only a handful of A95 and nothing else. Without A95s or A24s, you think svcs like 804, 806, 811 can tank with full A22s and taros? Then new svcs use taros and A22s? Like this will clog up the small bus interchanges.
The three doors, dual staircase is already a hint if you get it.The A24s might be only for Airport svc usage that if SMRT won the Seletar package(Svc 24).
Actually i like the idea airport svc deploy a few bendies..No need majority but something that can supplement the loadings.

Yea, anyways airport roads aren't that prone to clogging... At least by buses...
Thank god 858 isnt going to be tendered out too soon...

yishun feeders can use B9TL from 2018..no issue...
as for woodland feeders, can also use DDs since most bendies will be gone in 2017/2018....

hopefully some B9s for SMRT in addition to A95s, otherwise more WAB svcs will fail either WAB quota or fall short of capacity.
Guys, don't worry: "Someone else is driving, I can daydream". That's how they are most likely "promoting" themselves, with the SDs on WDL feeders

yishun feeder under seletar package mah.. so no more bendies... u will see B9 or A95 instead (since there are at least 45 new one.. LTA should be order more than 50 bah)..

daydream at the bus stop? instead of in the bus? how do daydream in the bus/mrt when it is so crowded... lol

could be full fleet B9s for 806. but then no more fixed deployments
(well yishun feeders left 806 not WAB yet)

daydream in the bus or nightmare in the bus? i just wish to have a car for transport.
In one way or another I hope I can own a Volkswagen Mini for that
Though you can always go for cabRewards for free rides on cabs

I wonder which next wave of Bus services will be WAB next. [I hope SMRT’s Premium Services, RWS8, BPS1, Express Services & NightRider Services could also declare WAB in phases.] Predicting Services 180, 926 & 975 could be the next wave to declare WAB.
Impossible for RWS8 anymore. It'll be handing over to a private operator from July 1 onwards.

By the time concept bus will kick in... I hope the concept buses are deployed to the northern feeders first, top priority

Err how come? SMRT WAB svcs is doing fine without the B9s, and the A95s are coming in at a healthy rate.
B9s are currently given to GCM as priority. SMRT will continue to get their A95s. With its SMRT svcs given to GCM it will have to deal with less svcs. They are in no need for B9s.

LTA may punish SMRT (including bus captains of affected services - 300 & 806) with either a heavy fine, imprisonment or caning up to 6 to 10 strokes on bare buttocks for not fulfilling the WAB quota due to bendy buses soon. SMRT 806 bus drivers might receive a 2 year imprisonment and SMRT 300 bus drivers might receive caning of up to 3 strokes.
LTA will not be punishing SBS Transit because they have been done good with complying WAB whether it includes 160, 170 except for a few. Even the residents in Singapore has been notified with the digital switchover, people switch to digital to get HD channels (Channel 5 HD, Channel 8 HD, Vasantham HD, Okto HD, Channel NewsAsia HD and Channel U HD).
But that's not all - only service 900, 903, 912 and 913 has been forced to be WAB because they are unable to take in WAB until Woodlands Temporary Bus Interchange comes in and decided to mass deploy all the MAN A24 to WLDEP (without affecting WAB quota).
I think LTA poke your butthole better so that you can stop spreading nonsense for good.
The first few packages won't be for the incumbents. That's for sure.
Amyway the long term solution for 858 would be another new service helping to ease the load of 858, like 972 for 190, since LTA have to look for longer term viable solutions after these A24s.

Good for you. Work hard and you will make dreams into reality. That's how people succeed. Better than forever sitting down daydreaming but achieve nothing, if you get what I mean.
Wishing you luck in making it a reality.

Thanks. I am aware of that, but just look at the super high price of cars. Petrol, COE, maintenance...what do you expect from a country which forces car drivers to stop driving? Even if I earn thousands of dollars, why do you think I would be paying the overpriced bill? (Unless luck is on your side)
Thats why I am eyeing on second-hand and rental cars, but its harder to find these kind of cars, in addition of how they are damaged by other drivers, but hey, its a rental car, what do you expect? Sigh

Good luck in finding second hand car,You can try find those under 4 years old amd send for diagnose to play safe.Even now motorbike COE reach $6300.Back in early 2000s i co-shared a Toyota Starlet 1.3Turbo with my sibling,Later co-shared a Honda Civic VTi with my spouse,After few years when the Civic went to scrap,I buy a first hand Proton Exora 1.6 turbo mpv in 2012 and use it until now.Back then the COE is only $34000 and my Bro in-law buy a 2008 Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSI when the COE is only $6000!.Lucky i still ride my 600cc motorbike to work and managed to extend the COE back in 2014 when the price is only $2000.
