Petrol, COE, maintenance...what do you expect from a country which forces car drivers to stop driving? Even if I earn thousands of dollars, why do you think I would be paying the overpriced bill? (Unless luck is on your side)
Thats why I am eyeing on second-hand and rental cars, but its harder to find these kind of cars, in addition of how they are damaged by other drivers, but hey, its a rental car, what do you expect? Sigh
Well, it's your generation to make your dreams come true. You are the younger generation to make your future better.
Still support a govt that makes your house smaller, your car harder to reach, by making them more and more expensive, just for their sick and meaningless desire to increase the population to 6.9 and even 10 million people in this small country?
Many people refused to admit that the country is going downhill due to a govt that rather build casinos to support gambling than to support hardworking Singaporeans with a decent living space and a simple own transport.
It's how you guys going to make things right. Squeeze yourself within the competitive 6.9 million people for the next decades, how long is such life sustainable for a human?

I wish I born in your era. Living in the golden era of the 70s and 80s.

70s i was only a few years old,Mid 80s still a child..My peak time is during early 90s to early 2000s..I married in 1999 and my eldest daughter is going 16 this year.I got my class 2B in 1993 and pass my class 3 in 1995.Year 2000 i take class 2A and take bus driver vocational license and 4 years after that pass my class 4.In 2012 guess what i pass my class 2 to quench my long time desire to ride bigger cc motorbike..
Thanks :). I would take your advice

Amyway the long term solution for 858 would be another new service helping to ease the load of 858, like 972 for 190, since LTA have to look for longer term viable solutions after these A24s.

We dont need another svc that will be spammed with rigids, that will add burden to TPE and worst of all, get delayed and jammed like 858... Nothing will improve...
I am expecting a terminal to be anywhere near the Jewel now that those myopic idiots at CAAS have decided not to build one in it. And another one for T4+5.

An open air Terminal within T3/T1/T2 will be nice...And also one more small terminal for T4 also.27 can save a lot of buses and BCs if they use DDs instead.

B9s are currently given to GCM as priority. SMRT will continue to get their A95s. With its SMRT svcs given to GCM it will have to deal with less svcs. They are in no need for B9s.
you look at the WAB mess for some feeder services. 811 keeps having issue with loading, bendies on one side the load is on other side. (from what i read on SMRT FB) 800 and 804 are fine.

SMRT deployment always on the wrong timings,If they constantly do timing survey,They will roughly knew which time to deploy those bendies.
800:6 A22s and 3 bendies will do.
804 & 806:Ok for now
811:Should be as following,A22-A24-A22-A22-A24-OC500LE-O405G-A24-OC500LE
-A24-A22-O405G.Split shift:O405G-A22-A24-A22-OC500LE-A22-A22

811: 1 A24 to be slotted in between A22/taros (some taros may do 811E)
3+1 formation for 811 and 811A
Rumours:SMRT Amdep svc like 961,980,985,854 split shift buses,61 and 67 plus Wldep svc like 858 & 969 split shift buses will park at Loyang at a later date.Dont trust so much for this info,Wait for the confirmation better.
Let see if 858 or 969 got change in schedule or not
List of remaining non-WAB SBS Transit bus routes:
8: End-on berth, wait for the Tampines Bus Interchange Extension.
23: End-on berth, wait for the Tampines Bus Interchange Extension.
46: End-on berth, wait for the Tampines Bus Interchange Extension.
81: End-on berth, wait for the Tampines Bus Interchange Extension.
84: No reason.
160: Special needs (autism). PIW has been boarding these buses without fail.
170/170A: Special needs (autism). PIW has been boarding these buses without fail.
*: Children who are below 22 / 23 are not allowed to go from Woodlands Checkpoint to Johor Bahru without accompanied by parents / guardians (Note: They will get money stolen / passport stolen / NRIC stolen).
Passport Lost: https://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=127. Nearest embassy: https://www.mfa.gov.sg/content/mfa/overseasmission/johor_bahru.html
NRIC Lost: $100 for first loss, $300 for subsequent loss
(Note: WAB accessibility has been upgraded in December 2011 for Queen Street / February 2012 for JB Larkin). B10M Mark III was accidentally deployed instead of B10M Mark IV Strider / DM / DM3500s in 2001. They should have changed to newer buses without steps earlier! K230UB did not get deployed yet due to the WAB accessibility factor until 2012. They need to train their WAB in opening up the ramp at Larkin Terminal / Woodlands / JB (not an emergency exercise, but wheelchair-training exercise from 12am to 6am until 21 December 2012).
191: No reason.
193: Dusty, pollute the PIW, later get heat stroke.
262 / 761: Too small bus stop, manually needed
401: No reason.
So the next round is:
1st Batch - 84 / 191 / 401 (July 2016), in preparation for transfer to Go-Ahead Singapore Limited for 84.
2nd Batch - 8 / 23 / 46 / 81 (September 2016)
3rd Batch - 160 / 170 / 170A (Unknown)
4th Batch - 193 (end of 2016)
5th Batch - 262 / 761 (I will leave it to your own)
I think SBS has never been thought of -
I think Tibs has never been thought of -

Not many people board 8 from Tampines Int because its berth is so far away (especially for people coming from MRT side), so pax heading towards Ave 7 might as well take 4/18/19/37/38 etc. Last time when 8 was at berth B6 (where 31A was later relocated there) its loading was okay.
Deployment of 854 is really shit.
Fail 60% WAB.
SMRT should take more A95s.
I wonder if 857 can have more duties transferred to WPDEP, so that the DDs can go to 854.
Priest you havent see other svc like 67, 5 nwab b2b also common man

be happy that at least 854 is using bendies (still high capacity) instead of many other services like 187, 851 which spams A22s when more HC buses are needed
and even in terms of nwabs 67, 960 etc has much more
anyway SMRT, WAB and Capacity can only have two going well.
SMRT WAB but not Capacity
SMRT with Capacity but not WAB
WAB with Capacity is not SMRT service.
TT should give some of the A95s to SMRT, since they don't want to deploy them.
But LTA is not doing anything.

LTA love TT so much mah..
Today 854 got 70% WAB buses..67 also about 60% WAB.

They should give the A95s to SMRT 190 and deploy at least 1 NWAB bendy on yishun/woodlands feeders.. Can cut buses but as long pattern is mantained (NWAB WAB NWAB WAB) all should be fine

No way. they are barely scraping with their WAB quota and u wanna add NWAB
N/A

Hahaha just as i thought..What more service they need the A95s for?For 106 and 189 they already got 19 Enviro 500s and Wrights..Others SBST already transferred over those Wrights to them.If LTA funded another 150 units to supplement the GCM then its great.
