Should SMRT lose the Yishun feeders then the A24s can deployed to
S300:6 A24 / 7 A22
S301:2 A24 / 4 A22
S302:10 A24 / 6 A22
S900:5 A24 / 4 A22
S901:4 A24 / 6 A22
S903:7 A24 / 2 A22
S911:6 A24 / 10 A22
S912:11 A24 / 6 A22
S913:10 A24 / 5 A22
S920/922:2 A24 each
S858:6 A24 / 22 A22
71 units minus 40 units so LTA just supply 38 units with 7 act as spare.

184 better with bendies IMO given there is huge boarding/alighting at Clementi stop. On flipside it does hog more space, and maybe 2 184 DDs can be there at same time.

I would convert 900, 901, 903, 920, 922 into DD services instead of bendy and instead deploy 16 A24 to sv 184. and 10 A24s to sv 858.

Although it hogs more space but it departs faster than a 154 or 52 DD on the flipside. 2 184 bus can depart that stop while 154B still stuck there waiting for the bus to be 100% full to the door
Then why do you want 184 to have DDs? That's why I replied to you saying I prefer 184 to have bendies.

184 bendy deployment may or may not last long anyway.. Given that 154 O405G buses are deregister-ing by next year.. Leaving 100 O405G + 41 A24 buses behind for the 3 depots..
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:With GCM, LTA should have purchased WAB endies and used them exclusively for short feeders, intratowns connecting many MRTs, airport services and svc 184.
All other services can use DDs if they need HC buses.
Correct.. But LTA stubborn mah..

Hopefully they will prioritize the bendies for 184 and feeders/intratowns and convert all other trunk services and long feeders to DDs.

Expect more old bendies to be scrap should they lose Yishun.

TIB973A to TIB1147L are expected to be deregistered in 2017 anyway. Left the remaining 100 units from 2018 onwards and probably the AMDEP ones might move to KJDEP for the CCK feeders.
Saw this notice at TWRI..
"New SOP for PIW w.e.f. 01 Sep 2016
Can pick up all PIWs as long as bus is equipped with a wheelchair ramp & Bus stop is barrier free"..
I guess it means all services are "WAB" so as long as it is a WAB bus..
SOP - Standard Operator(?)/Operating(?) Procedure

For some reasons, I don't really see much O405Gs on 964 lately...
