If you ask me what's the future for BCM particularly the 2 foreign operators,You will know the answers if LTA awarded Bt Merah again to SBST.No need to talk about experience because those two operators are new to SG.

After SBST takeover Yishun feeders/intratowns,I am sure Amdep will transfer half of their A24s to Wldep & Kjdep.Most probably they kept 7-8 units including spares for 858.
I think that only 300,301,302,900 & 901 will use a mix of A22 & A24.920 & 922 distance also justified for DDs.

I think 856 likewise can still use a whole lot of bendies left since there would be some xtra left from Seletar

I still notice many old bendies are still seen on 854 during the peak hours. At times still encounter 2-3 consecutive NWAB. SMRT should seriously swap out all the old bendies from 854 to 856 in exchange for more WAB DDs over to 854 (S-shift duties especially) so as to improve the WAB quota for 854 during the peak hours. Off peak and weekend WAB quota for 854 still ok for now.

One way is to make fleet adjustment by taking the few A24s out from 176/188, since these 2 trunks can use DD instead. Add on SMB8008L from 969.

Non-WAB bendies will retire sooner than we think. Maybe end of next year all bendies gone except for 40 A24s which will be a priced treasure.
Since LTA pampered them too much,Why not supply them another 30-40 A24 for their feeders?Reason why you see more O405G on trunk 854,969 is because the DDs(A95/E500) is in bad shape..Dented body,Under maintenance etc..Dunno why this AMDEP took a long time to troubleshoot and repair buses.They just love to maintaining private cars and vans.

Frankly speaking, AMDEP should put those old bendies on 856 instead of 854. Reason is very simple, 856 is not WAB, all the old buses should be there. No point pampering 856 with all the WAB and not declaring WAB. SMRT should prioritize the WAB buses on the WAB declared services first.
854 seriously need to buck up their WAB quota, its is still not up to expectations compared to 169, 190, 960, 969 etc. 851 WAB not that good too but not much of an issue as it will be going to SBST Seletar soon. For feeders with poor WAB quota, I dunno what to say as SMRT is not introducing DDs yet.

176/188 A24 can be use on CCK Feeders.
SMRT NightRiders, Express and BPS1 should also have declare WAB since the fleet can use WAB Buses.
