N113 still the Queen.

The Renaults at Kalamunda depot are still based there and will continue to be based there for the foreseeable future.
The OC 500 diesels replaced O 405 NHs on a one-for-one basis, with no more O 405 NHs now remaining at Kalamunda depot.
Seen & taken 1307 on route 299.

The Euro 5/EEV engines with 9.3-litres of displacement, variable geometry turbocharging and Scania XPI are much better and the K280UB is actually very reasonable.

That could have been on route 299 for many reasons e.g. changed off a broken down bus, driver covering another driver's shift etc. It's not based at Kalamunda.

Queen of itchy ears, yes.
I'm not buying the argument of SG not being able to take care of the 113s.
The SBST and SMRT ones all vibrate badly, unlike the Merc and Volvos.

So Dave what do you think of Volvo B9L?Dunno why SBSTransit arent keen to buy this?Fuel/cost factor or simply flaw design?I was hoping SMRT could trial the MAN Lion City Double Deckers with 3 doors,2 staircase at least before they decided to retire their bendies..

I was hoping that Veolia-Transdev would get B9Ls, but they went for the B7RLEs instead.

B9L would be alright - a good compromise between performance and economy. I would still prefer either of the Germans (Merc or MAN) however.

The B57s gave me itchy ears when I was little. The CRBs that replaced them were another thing altogether.

How can Veolia end up with Volvo B9Ls if they don't actually buy the buses?

Not all of them are that bad...
Of all the Scania K230UBs SBST brought, perhaps it is the Euro V ones that are the only jerking ones.
The rest? Just INTIMINATING CITAROS WITHOUT LOW FLOORS
5 cylinders tend to vibrate but can be minimised. The KUBs crush loads is the factor SBST buy them..I was hoping K270UB.The Penang one vibrate less

So this is as though all the Citaros are neither low-floor nor low-entry already.
I meant those Euro IVs [ P.A. SBS8???? ]
are just like the citaros just that...
1. They are NOT full low floor.
2. Their air-con stronger.
3. They are more confortable to sit in.
4. You would not get dizziness.
5. It is sometimes faster.

Third one is false, the rest true enuff to prove citaros are still not much btr than KUB

No. It is true. Remember the time when a citaro reach bus stop?
It slants slightly to the left. Stupid hydraulics.
KUB got slant but is negligible. Therefore KUB more comfortable.
The citaro seat like sitting on a metal chair with a stack of books underneath 2 of the legs.

Stop jerking off in a K230UB please. That is my most precious bus available right now.
