  I found out something about the old ez link card readers and how to fuck around with them.
  
  First, board a bus with an old ezlink reader (This DOES NOT work on the new SeP readers)
  
  Second, turn on NFC on your mobile phone (Your phone MUST have NFC for it to work. (e.g Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S Advance, Xperia S, Xperia Z, HTC One, HTC One X, HTC Windows Phone 8X, Lumias 620 - 920, etc)
  
  Third, When the reader turns on, tap your phone like you are tapping your card. The reader will start making beeps like as though your card has no money.

  NFC = Near Field Communication

  NFC is a technology.

  The NFC app makes use of the technology. (Writing commands into tags etc.)

  Many phones have this, you can use NFC tags to program functions on it. Like setting the alarm at 5 AM every morning. Samsung and some other sites give more insight on this. You can try it if you have a NFC-enabled phone. Your phone battery must allow it too. If your phone has that feature (phones like the Note II and the S III), turn on the NFC function in the Settings app. Wikipedia has info too.

  Old reader rosak, dropped on the floor while bus was OS to HGDEP few days ago.
