Superbus on service 78!!!

What I thought is impossible has become possible. I saw the picture of 9493 plying on service 78 on the "Spore Buses" group. Now I have problem deciding whether to take Superbus on service 78 or MK2 on service 285.

As far as I know 78 had Superbuses but just for a while, it is withrawn now. Well I always take whichever come first, 285 or 78.

Wow, when i saw the pic , i also cant believed it . Keeping watching , see whether the bus becomes a perm 78 bus .

Yes, service 78 has Superbuses a few times before, perhaps as a trial or substitute. Yes, possibly cameo. Other cameo sightings include SBS 9815H on Sv. 88, SBS 9831 and SBS 9806J on Sv. 157 as well.

MK4 (26XX to 28XX) has been deployed on service 78 during the peak hours since last year. Most of the time I boarded the bus during the morning peak. At first I couldn't believe that superbus is deployed on service 78 as it is considered an industrial service. Maybe soon we may see superbuses on services 192 and 193. -
It's been some time since I last saw a superbus operating 78, arrghh, I thought I could have the priviledge to ride on superbuses to Clementi though it's only 3 stops!

just for info:
svc 334, 333 can also handle superbuses. there was a trial of superbus wif svc 96 and 151 ( dec 2002). Service 91 can also take in superbus.

Of cos Sv. 333 and Sv. 334 can handle Superbuses, they are already deploying LOs and VOs(I think) 2 axle versions. Sv. 151 operated double-decks for how long? The load is just not there, IMO.

I don't think superbuses are appropriate for services 96 & 151 as Kent Ridge Crescent is a narrow, steep and winding road. Also I think there's a height restriction there (or Lower Kent Ridge Rd?)Originally posted by xin1jun2:just for info:
