Not F-shift. But it's 4A-10P / 1T and there are 10 buses! Wouldn't the T shift driver jump to P shift?

No. It was once on 105 and this service does not allow DDs. And recently, it has been on 506 very often, and this service does not have DDs.

That reminds me of saf's itms.

This capability has been there for a long time. The question is who would be willing to enforce it.

It's not about the svc having/allowing DD or what...it's just a SD bus with DD license...that's all... :/

On SV103 Sundays/PH schedule, usually additional 6 P shift will pull other HGDEP Mark IV and/or take back it's available mark 4.
So there wouldn't be possible to have one T shift driver jump to P shift. If you might want, you can go try see 103 on Sundays.
Does 139A uses its own buses and the 3 x-overs from 90 or just the x-overs?
What is the load like for 87 during peak?
Is there any instance where SWT uses SP buses?

Idk.
Catastrophic.
Yes. 27A.

Yes, I am aware of this issue.
And you can still get caught for speeding.
There are more than one method to detect or/and deter speeding.

139A uses only crossover buses from Sv 90

Very heavy... 80+ pax in direction towards Sengkang almost consistently from Bedok. 70+ pax from Kaki Bukit to Bedok area. Sengkang to Kaki Bukit can be low.

So from the above, I can assume that 87's loading is like this
Bedok - Sengkang: high loading throughout
Sengkang - Bedok: only high loading from Kaki Bukit - Bedok and within Sengkang (by carbikebus' input)
I wonder if it is possible if 1 - 3 87's DD at Sengkang can do 27A (since 27A starts at Sengkang), then when it ends at Tampines, goes to Bedok and continue do 87.
87 is a short and direct route..Only bus service from Sengkang to Bedok. And also it serves the industrial belts at kaki bukit.. 87's fleet is managing well, i dont think it would be a good idea..
Maybe DDs can crossover from Sv 163?

Definitely not short and direct.
In fact there isn't actually a high demand between Bedok Ctrl and Sengkang.
However during PM peak most, if not all, the DDs will be completely packed the moment it leaves the first stop or two along Jln Eunos, despite its ability to keep up a commendable freq of <5 mins on average.
The same stretch also fills up most Bedok-bound buses at the same time.
What are the scheduled arrival timings for 222 (Chai Chee-bound) (including 222P) between 8:30 - 9:15am at Bedok MRT bus stop during weekday and weekend?

Short and direct? Service 87: 13.1 km.
Service 194: 8.1 km.
Service 194 is what I call short and direct.
Originally posted by carbikebus:87 is way longer than 181 which i dun understand why it is called trunk svc.Just renumbered 244 cannot uh?
If I am not long initially they do have the plan to extend 181 to Buona Vista with the same route as the current 185 after Jurong West Avenue 3 but due to unknown reason they keep 181's route intact and introduce 185 instead.
And yes I do agree that 181 could renumbered as 24X due to its 'feeder' nature but it might be slated to extend to the Bulim industrial area in the future when that place is developed.
