This realy so good

Yes... But correct me if I am wrong.. My loading observation has been most Sv 282 pax who board at interchange, alight along ave 5 and ave 2 bus stops... And most ppl living along west st 2 indeed take 189 (now 201) or 285/78 depending on where they live along west st 2. Also noticed intra-town pax between west st 2 and ave 2/5 is extremely low. That's where I am not sure if that merger really made sense.
Also these pax are not blessed with direct service to Fair Price and MRT.
would be pleased to hear others opinion on this topic.
Some of Bedok Int svc need to terminate or loop somewhere else passing outside the Int..Its like a tickbomb waiting more accidents to happen..Svc like 69 can terminate at Eunos,18 can just loop around there..

18 can be extended to loop around Meyer/Haig road... The bus can be under BSEP and it's usability will improve many fold. On another note, observed a random Sv 18 packed to door am peak along Tampines ave 7. I was in my car. When I followed the bus short distance, saw bus was almost empty after at a Tampines CC... Seems like 8/38 had not called for long time.
At least 3-4 service need to get out..The Int getting so congested and many times i observed near miss incidents...
Ever since Bedok ITH opened,is there still any bendies on 854?

Yes... I saw at least two WLDEP bendies on 854 after Bedok ITH opened.
There is still bendies,At least 8 from both sides..By the way saw E500 Training bus enter the ITH yesterday...
Batch 3 A22s on 882 are only cameos?
probably
Is it true that bendies have the potential to fit more than 140 pax per bus, but not met due to passenger behavior (Not moving in, squeezing in, etc)

I remember is 120 but 140 is possible when everyone literally squeezed to the back with minimal gaps
Why buses lock at 60kmh
So bloody slow
True,at least 65kmh make a significant difference..No need 70-80..

Actually 70 would be ideal.
The perfomance of buses could only be sustained with consistent performance.
60 is a very harmful limit as it really damages the engine and gearbox, especially when the bus climbs up a slope...
65 may not do the most improvement to a bus too
HK has speed limits of lowest 70kmh, some has limits of 80kmh... As a result the WEGs there perform much better than the currently trashy WEGs of SBST
Pretty disturbing to see numerous MMCs roaring and vibrating while those in HK are still good as new despite being in svc longer than the SMRT ones...
Even some old models of Toyko buses perform better than many of our SDs
But is there any reason why SG has to choose the number 60? Because of its road conditions?

Inside can turn around?

No surprise
Yishun Temp Int will kickstart 854 DDs
Does the big difference in gear ratios between the 1st and 2nd gear for ZF gearbox cause the jerky gearshift from 1st to 2nd?

Its the torque converter that locks up at the first gear. Ever notice how it revs up before the gear is changed, hence the drop in RPMs would have caused the jerkiness.

That's not true... bus can realistically take in between 110-120 pax... Around 55 seating... around 55-60 standing... that's about it... this is even taking passenger behaviour into account...
Also need to note... most rare of bendies are not that packed... even for buses like 190... the classic video where person had to leave 14 buses... u will see that rare of bendies had very few standees... the front part was cramped.
In reality:Low floor SD buses can only take 70 plus pax maximum..Rest you will be like sardines in a can
Low Entry SD might be 80 odd pax
DDs might be 120 odd but again lower deck like sardines
Bendy if ppl move to the after rear axle might get 130 the most but for A24 might be lesser.
HK Volvo B9TL 2 axles 10.5m and ADL Enviro 400 10.4m using the Euro V 310hp/1400nm & 340hp/1500nm respectively right?Might be for the additional weight for AC unit right? Also i heard in UK the ADL E400 got 11.4m variant but only with single door right?Lets say if Malaysia wanna buy but requested for 2 doors is it possible?

there are 2 scenarios here, and both scenarios can contribute to jerkiness:
1. Torque Converter Lockup: when the torque converter locksup below the ideal lockup speed (turbine rpm <90% of pump rpm), jerkiness occurs as the engine is subjected to a load shock once the lockup clutch closes. unoptimised shift points, as well as torsional dampeners (in poor condition) on the lockup clutch further contribute to jerkiness.
2. Transmission Upshift: as all AT transmissions are actuated by ATF pressure (through a series of solenoids controlled by electrical impulses), abnormal ATF pressure within the transmission may result in jerks during upshifting as there may be excessive/insufficient ATF pressure required to actuate lockup/releases of the clutches of the gears involved in the upshift.
If the transmission in question is a ZF/Allison, both scenarios apply. If the transmission is a DIWA, only the second scenario apply.
TLDR: the difference in gear ratios between the first and second gears do not cause the jerkiness in transmission upshifts. it is the condition and tuning of the gearbox that contributes significantly to jerkiness whenever gears are changed.

Isn't the E400 in HK 10.5 long?
And AD is a very open company. Shouldnt be a problem.

For bigger buses and lorries 65 kmh is more significant than 60 though its only 5kmh diff..Those smaller diesel engine like Vans or Taxis their speedo below 80kmh is mostly error
