Sometimes I wonder, is Jeyel (the owner of SGforums) a two dollar company? I visited their website. It looks as if there's no business other than SGforums. I guess it's only set up to manage SGforums. Am I right?
Why was SMB5048R laid up?

Sincere lol
Anyone knows why svc 5 and 59 does not serve the several PIE stops near TPY/MacPherson area?
I think it'll be great if they stop at the 23/966 bus stop along PIE at least. Fast connection from Tampines to Toa Payoh, Bishan and Orchard by transfering from 23>5/59.
Also great for Bedok Res/Eunos Link residents which svc 5 and 59 serves.
I guess they want people to use 518 and 506 to get more $$$, lol.
Why does Service 258 have a page for itself on SgWiki? Shouldn't it be on the JIS page with the {BSEP} template?

258 is categorised under trunk service rather than a JIS service like it's siblings.

Idk leh, I don't understand how it can be a JIS service when it's main catchment area is at Jurong West..

I guess it's because 5 and 59 just go straight to PIE instead of turning to MacPherson Rd/Bendemeer Rd etc (like 8/26/31/151/154 etc which all call at the stops over there). Although I agree that they should call at these bus stops and the bus stops at Kolam Ayer served by 23/966.
Question: Why are there so many perm KUBs on BSEP services (e.g. 20, 102, 116, 122) nowadays?

why is 182/192/193 trunk when its main catchment is JIS?
258 is JIS with the numbering.

I think this question had been answered before but then I will clarify for you.
The current bus fleet of the BSEP buses have been transferred to SLBP for the transition to Tower Transit. Therefore, in return, some of the fleets from the services (Svc 66, 96, 97, 98, 143, 183, 282, 284, 285, 333, 334, 335) are transferred back to the respective depots and being served replacing its current fleet of BSEP buses.
Some of them also can use the SP buses from their own respective depot to be perm on the services.

5 and 59 are already long enough, often plagued with their own traffic problems.
Both routes still have to overcome the Changi/Loyang sector respectively, both of which can mess up the freq heavily.
I think buses need not call at every stop along the way. It should not be a duty to. Just let these svcs be at their current better conditions.
Why all the OCs kicked out of 851? Lately only spotted A22s and A24s on this service.
