Standardisation means all lenghts to be only 12 meters.
All double deckers will be good, especially Singapore is so populated.
instead of that
bus park on top floor and all the boarding/alighting on the lower floor
is it possible?

but i wonder how did HK manage with DD + SD + midi buses (巴)?

some routes like airport routes simply cannot have double deckers, only single deckers. organisations like NEA can help by chopping down trees and LTA can help by pushing for a dedicated bus terminal for the airport, free of height restrictions.
Then deploy 15 meter DDs. Bendie lovers may like the length, bendie haters like the DD style. Those who like SD can stay lower deck.
end of story.
people out of their minds will think of BADDs(Bi-Articulated Double Deckers)

In any way, it won't work.
Long bus queues will only cause delay to other buses behind, which means it will cause the entrances and exits of the ramps of other levels to be blocked. which is much worse than a single level interchange.

LTA already stated length is the problem.
there should be some plannings in the bus interchange and better bus timing so that there is no long queues.

Okay then. We will see how it goes. LTA will decide
LTA clearly has decided, lest you be blind to reason and evidence.
Hmm...Boon Lay hardly got any bendy bus, but the jam outside the interchange is always... So is LTA gonna solve this?
Some buses ended up parking in the middle of the traffic junction when they are lambat. And these buses are majority caused by DDs and SDs.
Time issue or blame the infrastructure of the interchange to have only 1 entrance/exit? ![]()
P.S. Not the 174/154 side~
now i see the problem ...
it's not the type of buses
but more on the planning

practically that's the issue.
they probably used the wrong strategy

Where is the proof?

I don't see this happening on normal timings and weekends. Have you been there on weekends before ![]()

Not feasible. Like what I have said, one stop seamless transfer. Besides, building such structures aren't cheap and needs to be planned very carefully, and looking into aspects of how to develop it in a way to earn the costs back in the shortest possible time. Such things aren't as easy as snapping your fingers.
As you said, if LTA is serious about improving bus services, its worthwhile and feasible.

No one is going to draw a stop line right smack at a junction w/o any concrete divider [BPJ style at Petir Rd, but this case LTA can’t make the divider cos it’s only 1 frigging lane!] and there’s a side junction on the opp side..
Yellow box's purpose is to prevent blockage by vehicles in junctions.
No la.
Yellow box is for people smoke inside.

every place that has bendy buses, the bus stop driveway sure would see road sinking… and surprisingly, the sinking hits most at the position where the bendy’s engine compartment is…
Dun believe, go take a look at the Upp Bt Timah Rd/ Blk 185A bus stop…
Marsiling MRT is a very clear victim of this ![]()

No la, yellow box is a yellow-coloured box for you to put inside your things.
