  eh.. aging population does not mean population will drop... there's people in and out, there's new couples in the newer new towns... There's the industrial, university bus svs needs to cater for... The Malaysia Singapore RTS like it or not, may kill off 170X, 950... but 160, 170 may still be kept, but at slashed headways... Thomson Line has one issue, it does not bring ppl straight to Shenton Way... can the NSL cope further?

  but can the bus stop shelter cater for bendies? The 2nd exit door is it mostly sheltered? Look at the new BPJ bus stops that LTA has constructed... Of course to SMRT no problem, but as a country?

  the newly extended bus stops at BPJ road at most can only fit two bendy buses... and for the one towards bpj its not even fully sheltered. peak hour sure die.... at least 3 DD can fit in that bus stop

  COE $100k alrdy ppl will think twice of buying a car.. Thing is this, end of the day it's chicken n egg problem.. more cars, end up having more buses just to maintain the capacity/ headways...

  the new bus stops constructed by LTA are mostly in the inner parts of BPJ, which is very unlikely for bendies to ply (unlikely 920/922 have bendies even in future)... other than the superlong bus stop @ blk 183

  IIRC I saw a citaro in AMDEP a few days ago with it's tyres removed.

  The BC of 5096S(BRBP 231) washed the bus himself at TPY interchange.

  with the closure of BP Int and ONP returned back to WLDEP... we can expect an improvement for 75/920/922 buses...
