But in practoce, if you put DDs on feeders, who the heck will move up? Most of them are just riding for a few stops... And it's very hard to change people's habits.
Toa Payoh had 22 floor (1970s)
Woodlands have 12 floors (1998)
logic fail
sorry to say 901 will still pull in bendies and 858 will only have rigids

old habit die hard
it could be even worse at least for the intial period
obviously no one here has seen the major BPJ bus stops... Can't wait till school reopens then chaos happen big big in front of your eyes. I've lived in woodlands for my entire life... I can safely say the bendies need to go. Shall not elaborate because you won't believe until u guys see it yourself during peak hours. oh wait even if you do you'll still live in denial...

The main chaos is also the bus stop shelter issue~ when there's raining day .___." 1 Small bus stop sure isn't gonna shelter the entire people.

They are partially the main reasons of SMRTB's inefficiencies all these years, especially after my observation outside Woodlands depot in the midnight.
Too much time wasted on delays caused by the long queues of buses and parking crunch in the depot due to space limitations, poor BCs have not enough resting times. Probably if SMRTB stops using bendy buses soon, their scheduling will be improved and their frequencies will not be so erractic.

Even if that isn't suggested, I don't even think Singapore transport have a good safety system please~ Don't even think about buses yet, nowadays car driver also anyhow. TP also not spotted on road~ So you think they drivers care? No please, not all drivers are so following the law always. However, I don't see any danger by stopping just abit infront, not as if the whole bus is directly stopping on the "\" part

Got cause problem to commuters meh? You can't improve up till the standard there, there always gotta be more than what the standard wants. Don't tell me you're just gonna get a pass for your exam, and after that being happy over it? Wow~~

You are not answering my question and seems to me that either you do not know how to drive or you are potential dangerous driver. You are simply just sidetracking what I have said. Blind spots and wide filtering lanes are crucial for large vehicles like buses.

Woah..I don't know some bus fans can be soo mad about buses until they camp outside WLDEP in the MIDNIGHT somemore...zai zai~ I wonder why they never contact the police of suspicious person outside depot ![]()

isn't 179A a special short working trip?
might as well spam DD on 179 and take out the 179A

look at which mrt station 179A skips. best still, take 179A when NTU school holidays are over and you will know why its there

it skips pioneer station ...
hmm i guess most people boards 179 at Pioneer station

it skips pioneer station, cutting down much travelling time compared to when the bus has to stop at pioneer station, which will have a clusterbomb of NTU students waiting for 179

but that only applies to morning (in bound) and evening (out bound)
and only service on weekdays
199 - NIE
179 - the rest ...
But frankly 179A does help with the freq and bus flow...

As for evening peak, w/ 241, 255 being so frequent and bus stop being so small.. no way so many buses can flood up Pioneer…
Anyway, Pioneer Stn isn’t the correct station to load up NTU students… only 1 pair of up and down riding escalator at the MRT Stn platform.. for high usage?
Should see 179A’s queue during the AM peak on some days… can stretch all the way out of JP2 the glass door beside Old Chang Kee…
erm there is only a up riding escalator and the stairs beside it
no shelter
179A should skip JW st 63 and proceed to Boon Lay Way and continue
