It will be useless. Trip too long via Kovan, HG Ave 2. Rather take 53 and change to 87 at Tampines Road.

You have to be kidding me. 113 has only one stop on HG Ave 6 (Punggol CC) within walking distance from both HG Ave 8 and HG Ave 10 both having buses from Kovan. Also, who would want to get down at Kovan and take 113 to HG Ave 6, instead of getting down at Hougang MRT.
Accept it. 113 route from Kovan to Hougang is the main reason why there is no DD on the bus. Not more than 20 pax at most trips.

113? A neat 24-26 min wait and a packed KUB comes by. Du lan eh...
HIHS and CHIJ from Hougang got 112/74/147, Kovan also got 112, and 112 freq is topped at 15 min, and the service is famous for its punctual schedule...
Punggol Pri got 325 and 147, and is bother to walk got the famous 3-min freq 27 somemore... Just checked iris, the next bus for 113 is 25 min... X.X

113 route should be modified.
Serangoon -- Lor Ah Soo -- Hougang Ave 1 -- Kovan MRT -- Hougang St 21 -- Hougang Ave 1..... (loop service) will make the route profitable and will be DD worthy. I am going to give SBST this suggestion.

113 should merged with 119 to form Punggol > Hougang Street 11 (Loop)
Via 119 route from Punggol to Kovan, then follow 113 route to Upp Paya Lebar/Hougang Street 11.. -

I would suggest 117 from Hougang to CCK via BPJ. If this route is introduced, I am sure in a few months it will be a hit. There need to be better services connecting west to NE. -
