Originally posted by lemon1974:your understanding of Lay up is wrong.. and you did not understand what i mention few months back... it does not concern the expiry of road tax.
in SBST/SMRT term, lay up mean keeping the buses off the road (and pull out from revenue service), either because, the buses lifespan is reaching soon, or the buses have accidents or some other major maintainance issues which results in the buses unable to be deployed at all.
by laying up the buses, they will save on the road tax paid (although not that much).. that why not all buses which have accidents or reaching lifespan are lay up as application need to be done at LTA for this lay up procedure..
so right now, a lot of LO3x are reaching their end of lifespan (few months left).. and with new buses coming (and space issue), SBST start to "unofficially" lay up these LO3x... i.e pulling them off revenue service and park inside depot lay up corner and sending them to scarp yard as well. As SBST did not officially apply for lay up, therefore, we tend to give these buses "awaiting lay up/degistration status"... (i.e not on revenue service any more). Onemotoring will still show that the buses road tax are paid till end of lifespan because SBST did not apply for official lay up status at all.
So basically for these cases, it will be based on observations instead of relaying on onemotoring.
if onemotoring is perfect, then observations are not needed at all. just click everyday.
its like saying if iris is perfect, then every bus on revenue service will be logged into the AVMS system for iris to pick it up, and not having abnormal headways at certain times. (bus on revenue service but not captured in iris)

Onemotoring is perfect but it still depend on the input data. If sbst dun apply for lay up no one can check the actual status also

This is absolutely rubbish. So pardon me guys (those who know me here long enough) for some blasting.
1) Did you see the perm stix on 6015U? It still had the Sv 53 perm stix as of Mon, and it was still on Sv 53 then with the new ad. If you never see/never find the perm stix on 6015U, then don't anyhow depend on Sgwiki. And I'm quite certain this Samsung ad contract is for Sv 53, not Sv 138. Besides, all the original Sv 138 Citaros are held back by ad contracts.
2) Alot of the Sv 53 Citaros do cameos on Sv 138 every week, but they are still perm on Sv 53 at the end of the day. Do you know this trend or did you just anyhow whack?
3) Did you verify the user who edited Sgwiki? Or are you the idiot called 'GLENCsOH' on Sgwiki? Who only edited the deployment page on Citaros for 6015U, but did not state what went into Sv 53 or Sv 138 on the 'deployments by service' page?
And as far as I know, Sv 138 did not have any fleet add at all lately.
Conclusion: If you don't know if your source is reliable because you haven't even verified the perm stix (provided you found it in the first place), or you're just blind (just look at how you mistake 1916C & 1917A), or you didn't even observe the trend in the first place (cause you just anyhow take the info from Sgwiki), or all of the above I stated, then don't anyhow act smart and post here. Seriously. Douchebag.
