As what he had said, it is just for familiarisation purposes for BSEP. But maybe it will take in MAN for the upcoming service 860 if it is under AMDEP.

(AMDEP)
Pls do not edit them as spare in sgwiki. These are perm buses for some services. Just indicate as AMDEP will do. Like wise for 3197 3199 3201 3208 n 3210 which are not on revenue service yet
Helped you corrected the previous edits by others for these buses already.
Also for the 2 BSEP Citaros found so far.
Originally posted by lemon1974:most likely they want to transfer one duty over to AMDEP from BBDEP? there is a change of timetable on 27/8/12 i think... so they throw 9889 over... but think AMDEP go do some overhaul or maintainence on this 9889 and they decide to put 3171 as perm instead? cross district can be done cos last time AMDEP also transfer two duties of Sv166 over to BBDEP...
Uh I seee, thanks. I was wondering whether 9889U flew over from BBDEP to AM/BR directly with no relation to 166, or was it 166 did a conversion of duties inside that's why 9889U flew over to East District. ![]()

Nahs I don't think they will kick out the VSOs anytime soon from Sv 88, they're good for those lambat runs to catch up time during peak hours! Besides, there's older buses on 88 still to kick, like the 2 VO3x Batch 1s..
Can someone verify for me if Sv 518 had a fleet add since 27 Aug? Cause IIRC, the freq used to be more than 15mins across all periods of the day, but now its as short as 13 mins at times?
And the media release recently did say that 518 benefitted from added trips...but I don't think its feasible if they merely revised the runtimes (& not a fleet add)? Cause the frequent jams along the route (esp peak hours & weekends) would have made it impossible to just ask the BCs to drive faster..
And 6249L has been at least running on 518 for the past month more often than anywhere else..same for 6254X in the recent 2 weeks but 6254X's case depends on whether 2729U is out (this entire week on 359, 5 weekdays straight replacing 1896B)..All other Mk4s are still on 518 regularly.
