Y Scania non air con bus on 10?

10 goes a very very long way. And somemore scania is the so called not so sophisticated bus as the others, y let it pass by shenton way and + so many workers need to ride on it. Confirm squeez until very jialat. Last time 28 also used to have the scania non aircon, but Im so glad its now fully air conditioned.

service 10 seems to be left out in the cold...er i mean hot ...by SBS i wonder why.
at any rate sbst now has an excess of non air-con scania buses. i guess they would be more than happy to exploit the fact that svc 10 is non air-con.

Sv. 10 had NAC Scania N113s deployed in replacement of 2-axle VOs, lately the VOs have made a comeback.

I guess this is a temporary measure , SBS are currently short of buses . Once the NE line starts , i hope some of the VOs from hougang south depot will transfer over to Bedok north depot for bus 10 .

Passenger load on service 10 is not high enough for SBST to deploy double deckers. As you would have observed, the buses on this service most of the time are MK4 Strider and MK4 DM3500. So it is normal for service 10 to has Scania NAC since service 10 belongs to Bedok North Depot, dominated by Scania buses.

When service 28 became the first service to use Volvo Super Olympians. You may have noticed that SBST does not announce every service changes on its website, esp. those shortworking trips and conversion of services to fully air-con etc. I think it's SBST responsibility to release such changes on its website to let more people know about the changes, and not just display posters at bus stops and interchanges. Tibs does that too. SBST and Tibs are indecisive of what and what not to publish. For example, SBST published 60A (extension of hours), 74A (amendment), 153A (new service) etc but left out 27A, 33A, 131A etc. Tibs can publish the introduction of 804A but can left out amendment of 853.Originally posted by off_service:Tibs does that too.
