When service 28 became the first service to use Volvo Super Olympians. Mercedes and Volvo MK3 took over the phased out Leyland Olympian 2 axles.Originally posted by tranquilice:Since when did service 28 become full air-con? I observed that the NAC Leyland Olympian on this service have disappeared.
You may have noticed that SBST does not announce every service changes on its website, esp. those shortworking trips and conversion of services to fully air-con etc. I think it's SBST responsibility to release such changes on its website to let more people know about the changes, and not just display posters at bus stops and interchanges. I also noticed that SBST does not release the introduction of services 27A and 33A on its website.Originally posted by off_service:When service 28 became the first service to use Volvo Super Olympians. Tibs does that too. Perhaps those information won't affect commuters alot and that is why they choose not ro publish it in the web- save money, save time, save cost and save trouble.Originally posted by tranquilice:You may have noticed that SBST does not announce every service changes on its website, esp. those shortworking trips and conversion of services to fully air-con etc. I think it's SBST responsibility to release such changes on its website to let more people know about the changes, and not just display posters at bus stops and interchanges. SBST and Tibs are indecisive of what and what not to publish. For example, SBST published 60A (extension of hours), 74A (amendment), 153A (new service) etc but left out 27A, 33A, 131A etc. Tibs can publish the introduction of 804A but can left out amendment of 853.Originally posted by off_service:Tibs does that too. Service 33A is a shortworking trip that operates from Mondays to Fridays, between 4pm and 7pm, one way from Kent Ridge terminal to Tiong Bahru MRT station/Tiong Bahru Plaza.Originally posted by oliver_yuen87:What's the route of 33A?
