Good then. This bus is useless. Everytime kena problem when on the roads.
Another possibility is it got raised up by a vehicle like crane(but there isnt any) or a tool like wat TIB868X said.

yes, the technician had to go under the bus/axle and raise it. if there was a raiser, the technician would have used it, no?
anyway the rear (at least the underneath of the rear) was already damaged.

Still, it'll be entering service someday - useless or not. It's the company who will be operating the vehicle, not us. We only see from the surface, and we have no info of what is causing the supposed "breakdowns". It's at most all guesswork based on all the stuffs shown and nobody is right or wrong.

sigh... hope this vehicle would just be a perm TRG or a museum bus, cuz it breakdown everytime. museum bus is the best. cuz when the drivers are doing TRG, breakdown everytime pek cek for them
even they decide to really enter service, i bet it would only be 1 stupid cameo

I've mentioned this to SBS6078M - It's at most all guesswork based on all the stuffs shown, and we don't have any further info other than from the sources on King Long website. Maybe there's a raiser system but it's not fixed up yet? We don't know.
As mentioned, in theory this is a modern citybus and i'm sure King Long's R&D department, to make sure their products stay in the competitive market would have equipped the vehicle with the features found on most modern citybuses of this era.

It's their decision lol. I remember reading somewhere on the news SBST was willing to trial hybrid vehicles in their fleet after the Sunlong's 1 year trial period to collect further data on the hybrid, but i can't find the article.

Hence the use of 2888T as the TRG bus.
That bus was a troublesome bus in the past.

Either there is a raiser (and it would have been used) or there is no raiser (and thats why they had to raise it by tools).
The BC will get reprimanded for this.
The slope is so steep! There's no way any of the current generation of buses could have cleared that slope on normal suspension mode.

none of us have seen the vehicle dashboard/controls system to back up your claim. As i said, all guesswork for now.

and you have not seen it either, so please stop appealing to ignorance. if its there, it WOULD have been used even before this happened, no?

I said, "none of us have seen the vehicle dashboard/controls". It's a guesswork / discussion. If this is going to turn into some petty argument about something nobody knows about yet and you seemingly wanting to insist you are defintely right, i've already stated what i've stated in the previous comments my thoughts, views and theories, will not be repeating it again.
Oopa KingLong Style..
So this bus will enter service or not..
Confirm end up like the OC500LE..

So both of you have never seen.
So uh.
What in the world is the bone of contention here?
Whose benefit of doubt is more doubtful?

Earlier in my previous post -
According to my friend's research - "In Singapore, ST Kinetics and King Long Singapore will also be collaborating with SBS Transit Ltd on a passenger service trial for the diesel-hybrid bus.". Source - http://www.stengg.com/AR2010/download/14_the_environment.pdf
That RD plate king Long hybrid vehicle is defintely not the one, so it is this vehicle.

there's something called inferences.... you can't provide one yourself and instead appeal to ignorance... i shall not say further if you cannot accept my inference.

So all we need to do now is wait. Until it makes official appearance. though if it doesn't come with the "modern fare" i think SBST will think twice about getting this bus.

bus already damaged before entered service, about 4 months in 'testing' already... so what do you think?

Educated inference - probably you should read my posts again.

I think you do not realise that LTA is seriously proding the 2 PTO in exploring alternative propulsion ideas.
And I also do not think you realise that China is actually the top producer in green energy whether you like it or not.
Many US/EU firms have made a lot of noise about Chinese "dumping", but frankly speaking, I think that trend is here to stay.

It's only time they get hybrid buses... but the king long unfortunately isnt one, I think. Uses AdBlue instead. Hopefully all alternative propulsion buses optiosn from MAN, Volvo and Merc are on the table. I'm sure they'll perform better than the MIC buses and be easier to maintain (SMB135E and SMB137A were allegedlly giving mechanics headaches, don't quote me on this)

I wont be surprised.
Both buses sounded progressively terrible.
And by the time I took 135E by chance a few months later, the aircon was bleah.
But then again, that just about described many of SMRT's buses.
i have one simple question
why do we care?
