Actually I think this looks better than the KUBs and has much more power at 221kW (assuming it's using a Cummins Euro III). Got to wait and see how it actually performs for comfort levels when it's on public service. It's still a MIC bus though.

Engines only have Euro 3? SBST's one should be using the CumminsISLE+300B(Euro-3) engine since it is the XMQ6121. Any ideal what type of gearbox is it using?

Seems ZF. I didn't hear any voith whistling while the bus was de-accelerating in limp mode.

And I just read that it uses leaf springs. It's gonna ride terrible. Probably using a ZF or Voith.

Ha, no wonder the rear mounted the road... there was no way to raise the suspension in the first place.

All MIC buses have extremely noisy engines and horrible leaf spring suspension. Can't King Long have at least put some effort into their demonstrator model and invested on changing the leaf springs to air suspension?

True. If SBST buys them, it's probably got nothing to do with passenger or driver comfort, or even fuel economy or ease of maintenance. It's just solely the low upfront cost they are after.
