Truly speaking, I think the K270UBs were rejected becoz it is not as Gd as the K230UB, oso that time is bacause SBST wan compete with SMRT by buying Citaros? So as to also replace the MKIIIs. By the time they are gonna buy the next batch to replace the DM I THINK the K270UB will be out of production oredi.
The Citaros wasn't used to replace the MK3s at all...

Then what replace the MK3s ?

Think logically. If the Citaros are meant to replace the MK3s, they should be purchased back in 2008 and introduced into service in 2009, but they only purchase it in 2010 and introduce it into service in 2011. Look at the previous trend as well. Most of the MK3s were replaced by MK4s and K230UBs, so SBS Transit seems to have a special reason to buy the Citaros.
I just realised that this new King Long is similar, if not the same, with the one currently in operation with RapidKL. Not a very comfortable bus to ride on.

It might not be so, as this demonstrator comes with ZF suspension and axles. As far as i know those in RapidKL are not.

It is still not registered. And it should be SBS4688R not SBS4688S even if it is registered with the 4688 rego.
