SBS915L (BNDEP 225)
SBS922R (BNDEP 40)
915L and 922R spotted with newly refurbished yellow seats. Abit strange for 922R's case as it was just refurbished with blue seats just around a year ago.
Based on past observation, this will most likely result in an lifespan extension for them but i just wonder if some of them could go off early as there are still a number of Citaros to come in and the number way surpass the remaining MK3.

Quite a few MK4 DM has yellow seats already. This 2 recent refurbishments may hint a lifespan extension.

Good to know that they r being refurbished.Hope this good buses can be extended..Really a waste that 924K,927C,934G,944C all became perm training buses in the last min. They should have thrown all those batch 1 kubs into perm training instead..
They will most likely given life extensions. Many of them are in good conditions
SBS886L (BN 39)
SBS889D (BN SP)
SBS890Z (BN 39)
Quite some time already since they refurbished. All formerly with blue seat covers, now switched to yellow seat covers. IIRC, only 889D has its A/C ducts refurb-ed to the red leather one, the other 2 still has the initial blue-ish leather A/C ducts.
Anyway, looking at these 3 which are even older than 915L 922R, yeaps its quite obvious SBST is prep-ing them for their 2-year extension.

I would disagree with you actually... wise choice that those 4 are perm training.. you will just cry your hearts out if you are taking them on revenue service... CUI AH!

so coincidentally all four were ex-SLBP buses .
892T also hv just switched to yellow seat cover (from HG 112)
I've seen the tender notice about all these DMs getting 2 year extention and refurbishment except for SBS901B and SBS972X, which is deregistered.

** LIKE **
Anyway this thread may be used to post the lifespan extensions, laid-ups and de-registration for the MK4 DMs and Striders (since some buses of both models are registered on the same days) in the future.
What will replace DM and Striders when it retire ? King Long ?

You sure I take 325 only?
I go anywhere else also need take 325
I got take a whole lot more bus services, unless you stalk me
Btw, SBS920X down for refurbishment.
It is easy to see as the buses down for refurbishments are in rego order...
SBS892T then SBS917G then SBS920X,
Easy to see right???
Btw I did see the tender notice BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS so stop assuming.
Citaros are not even 1 years old, not getting any refurbishments.
Most buses get refurbishments after 5 years or more for their age.
4 more months to catch the Superlong !
