Does SBS981U and SBS991R still have blue seats?

Ok then. SBS991R seems to have blue seats as well when I spotted it today.
Why did everyone forgot about 984L (HG 109)?

It still have blue seats after all...

Uh yeah, in case people forgot it still has blue seats. Seeing your previous posts was about finding which buses still has blue seats~

I just want to understand better which MK4s will receive lifespan extensions. So far I don't see any problem for SBS991R right now.
For buses with yellow seats, I think SBS990T will not have its lifespan extended like SBS967L. Heard from someone that there is some problems with this bus.
SBS976K and SBS977H have yellow seats but no refurbished AC ducts. So I want to ask whether those buses without refurbished ducts had repainted liveries?

this
bus
should
just
scrap!
Any signs of the 43 buses that will be sold to other companies?
Though I suspect they will be only selling a few units of DMs and mostly will be striders that are sold - the DM3500s are busy doing 160/170.

More than 43 MK4s are already de-registered. It was unknown which buses will be sold.
I have a feeling that SBS Transit will scrap those buses that were not sold.

Buses like SBS948S have easily identifiable problems so we can gurantee that it will be scrapped. But buses like SBS938X have either minor problems or no problems at all. Need further observation.
SBST can consider extending SBS978E, felt the condition of the bus is still good after taking a few times on Sv 153. Currently, the bus has not been refurbished yet...
For SBS990T, it has differential gear problem when I last took it where it would produce weird sound when the bus starts to accelerate...
Felt that SBS984L is still alright, haha. Last time when it was on 153, the condition was quite bad but have rectified the problem...

I was just gonna type the first paragraph you said.
Totally agreed, 978E is in a good condition. Boarded the bus when it cameoed on 165, it's even better than some of the refurbed DMs

Agree with you on the 2nd paragraph, haha. E.g. would be SBS939T (imo)
But there are some comparable with SBS978E (for the refurbed):
e.g.
SBS921T
SBS980Y
How about SBS991R? What are your opinions on SBS991R?
Originally posted by Gus.chong:How about SBS991R? What are your opinions on SBS991R?
SBS991R rarely cameos... Always on 103, from what I have seen.
It did cameo on 325 but I didn't get to ride it.
But I'm quite surprised BBDEP extended SBS995E despite the engine roaring pretty much as SBS2656X [ and HGDEP extended SBS2656X too ]

Sry, have not taken this bus for a while so can't tell much...
