105 is congested on the Western corridor

P.S. I sense SMB228X shouting Citaro G soon…
Airport roads are too narrow for bendy buses.

But they still deploy bendies for Airshow shuttle. Guess the drivers have a hard time driving those bendies around the Airport.
Air Show used coach bay... But yah, T2 exiting driveway bend was very tight for the bendies...
Even so, CGA MRT shuttle couldn't cope, it was overwhelmed... People haven't alight finish at Tanah Merah, buzzer up le...
What to do... Still want to use bendy buses and SMRT fellows decides not to go take a look at potential hazards at the Airport coach bay...
Oh yah.. I still remember they almost holland-ed... Almost exit to PIE on the way to Air Show site...

Very hard to move around and mount kerb many times. No good.

Do you think it is in top 5 - then why are there no DD deployed on this route? But I agree with most others though 65 loading from Little India depends on 66 before it and later 8 and 21.
145 has high loading consistently throughout its route. the low demand sectors are chinatown - harbourfront and queenstown - buona vista.

Duplicate 80 from Harbourfront to Lavender. But 145's loading not as high as 27,74,147,179 and 190

Hmm. How about buses like SBS997A, can it make it through the Airport roads? Since bendy and DD also not suitable for airport they should try superlong buses. HGDEP really should try deploying SBS997A to svc 27 to test out, and it will benefit the passengers also since svc 27 is always crowded during the peak hours.
The count as of now
74 - 5
147 - 5
27 - 3
179 - 3
190 - 3
36, 65, 145, 168, 170 - 2
Why do they not use DDs on 145 from Harbourfront to Toa Payoh???
The loading of 74 and 147 is getting more tedious ==
Alrdy mentioned 145 cannot use ADD at Henderson Rd.. Unless 145 goes back to old days, plying Toa Payoh & Kent Ridge.

SBS997A failed the trial because during full load, the pessagers are unable to board and alight the bus in time. That's why it failed the trial.

Please stop your citaro nonsense. Thank you.

Hope that SBS or SMRT can really try a superlong bus with 3 doors, perhaps this problem can be solved since SBS997A only got 2 doors. Scania Omnlink should be a good start since it is 14.6m unlike the Citaro L which is 15m and might cause problems.

How about plying 145 as ADD from Harbourfront to Toa Payoh and introducing 144 from Buona Vista to Shenton Way Terminal as SD?

No, not auntie/uncle. It is another guy from this forum [ I forgot who ], said this. He also confirmed it with SBST so...

With the new downtown line plus circle line...
The load would be lowered by about 5pax since MRT is still expensive

Ever enquired with SBST, the spokesperson mentioned that services that ply Henderson Road such as 124, 131, 145, 273, 408 or SMRT 176, or Telok Blangah Way 124, 131, 195 & 272 cannot deploy DD due to the low hanging branches from the trees...which explains why 131 and 145 that are always full in particular during peak hours even during weekends. At times, you will spot fully loaded 131 and 145 till evening 9 plus.
