Q5 is correct for 99. However for 157 their LAs had swapped with 198's LO2x during somewhere between late 1992 to early 1993.
Q6 is wrong
Q7 and Q11 is correct
Q14 3 out of 4 stated is correct.

ANSWER IS 168.
168? I know the Leylands can speed, but with the Wrights, it's quite slow now. Or is it because of other reasons that 168 can 'fly' on TPE/SLE?
Wrong Post

Some ZF wrights can speed too.
And the REAL glory flying is NOT the Leylands, BUT the DM3500s (Which sadly do not perm 168 anymore).

Citaros can fly oso... i always take 855 home from sch and driver always chiong at a certain portion.
my username rego is also famous for chionging but tends to over accelerate at the first few gears...
I once considered about my username being SMB 28 G instead, but in the end settled for the current one.
Leyland Olympian are the fastest bus in Singapore i've took (top speed). They are awesome at expressway. I remember taking SBS9171G on 161 with the standard charted ad, overtaking M'sia bus pekerja
I've took DM3500 full speed on 39 before in 2003, not bad ah, very noisy. But voith sucks at Expressway. MK4 Striders are better..
MK2s at E'way vibrates violently, i remember when it cameoed on 161. But very fast.
SBST MB405 totaly sucks at E'way
But now SBST BCs drive very slow..

SMRT 0405 can go 90km/h
Bendies can reach 80km/h
Citaros, DM3500s and Leylands can ''fly''
SBST 0405 can reach top speed very fast, but have poor top speed and a little noisy, the only thing I like about it is the sound when de-celerating.
SMRT beats SBS only in effeciency I guess, simi taiji speed control???!!!

Can try catching SBS2610C on 161 if you want

2) Which JRBP LO3x were redeployed from 157 to 98 when the latter turned FAC in June 1998? (Big hint: One of the buses is now perm 334)
3) True or false. 198 were converted to FAC during the 'major conversation exercise' of major PAC services to FAC in June 1998.
4) Which bus listed was not a perm on 334 during November 1997: SBS7144Z SBS7197X SBS6968U SBS7120S
5) Name the only 2 services with LA perms plying the entire Jurong West in 1996. (Hint: Not controlled by the old JRBP)
6) Name the only service from Boon Lay Interchange with VO2x perms in 1996.
7) True or false. There are at one time when all the 4 Tuas Terminal services -182, 183, 192 and 193 - have LO2x perms.
8) Which of the listed LO2x 157 perms in 1996 were not from the old Jurong Bus Park: SBS7136Y SBS6985U SBS7189U SBS7133E.
9) Name the LO2x from 154 with the long term Axe Brand ad in the mid to late 1990s'.
10) Name the LO2x from 157 with the long term blue colour SBS advertising ad in the mid to late 1990s' (Hint: The only old TPDEP controlled LO2x without the old SBS logo above the slot where the square desto was put)
11) Which year does 174 started to use ADDs (LO3x)?
12) Which 198 perm VO3x was the first to get an ad? (Hint: It was a student service centre ad which only covered the bottom side of the rear of the bus. Now the bus is controlled by SLBP).
13) Which LO2x was a perm for 197 during 1996?: SBS3564X SBS6943R SBS7163T SBS6935P
14) Name the 4 services (Hint: 3 from Jurong East and 1 from Boon Lay) with mainly LO2x and LO3x on JRBP side and O305s and VO3x from the other depot in 1996.
15) Which of the listed old JRBP LO2x was a perm on one of the JIS services in 1997 and name the services it was perm then: SBS6944M SBS7172S SBS7119Y SBS7188Y
16) Name the service SBS542D was perm in 1997.
17) Besides 243, name the other services which turned left from the old Boon Lay Interchange to continue its trip right after the 2001 Jurong West rationalisation of buses. (Hint: All were saw tooth parking services)
I shall reveal the answers to these questions:
1) SBS7185E and SBS7190P
2) SBS9082E, SBS9104B, SBS9115U and SBS9125R
3) False. 198 was converted to FAC on April 2000.
4) SBS6968U. It was redeployed from 334 to 198 and subsequently 157 years before. This question is quite trickly as SBS7197X, with Yokohama Tires ad, was redeployed from 157 to 334 not long then.
5) 99 and 198
6) 30. 154 used O3O5s as NAC DD fleet for HGDEP side then and all NAC DDs on 198 were LAs then (only in 1997 did 198 started to use VO2X perms). 157 was fully LO2x for both JRBP and TPDEP for their NAC fleets.
7) True.
8) SBS6985U
9) SBS6980H
10) SBS7162X
11) 2003. When it was amended to ply Chin Swee Road instead of New Bridge Road.
12) SBS9363U. In late 1996.
13) SBS3564X - Famous for the long term Michelin Ad.
14) 154 (From Boon Lay) and 51, 97, 197 (From Jurong East)
15) SBS7119Y - 254 perm then. The other 3 buses were serving 157, 334 and 98 respectively then.
16) 98
17) 179, 192, 193, 254, 255 and 257. Do take note that 182 was still operating from Jurong East then and there was no 181 then also.

voith can go fast actually despite the poor acceleration from 1st to 3rd gear, and the only nice voiths belong to the citaros and dm3500s. and don't forget the weg2's voith(although wrights r slow). damn nice when speeding.
i prefer zf's nice sound, the habits zf totally rocks!!!

I'm 100% sure that Leyland Olmpians are faster than DM3500, ZF better than Voith at Expressway..
I've took SBS2836T , SBS2703T, SBS2709C, SBS2757M, SBS2837R, SBS2754X(samsung ad with plug doors) on 161 many times already.
39 also used to be fast when newly introduced. Perm DM3500s are SBS2818X SBS2828S, SBS2829P, SBS2830J and SBS2832D. One of them got SK ad. Perm striders are SBS2630U with Bridgestone ad. I've been taking svc 39 since introduction.
DM3500s are comfortable but not as fast as LO3X, MK4 DM/Striders and SMRT O405. Not sure if they got speed limiters or not.

If I'm not wrong only SBST buses have speed limiters of 60km/h. They should have speed limiters of 70km/h instead. More than enough alr.

SMRT should be the same as speed limiters are set by LTA.
I agree, speed limit should be 70km/h. 88's LO3x seems to be slower than what TIB1218R said... Or perhaps it is just the wrong BC I took. PRC drivers usually chiong one.

LO3X suck, engine too hot thats why AMDEP fire caused by LO3X, but to admit,DM3500s are not the fastest. They are just the fastest on express.
The fastest in my opinion are wrights.
Name the service that has been going to changi airport for at least 25 years

Naame 2 svcs with a difference number of less than 10, that were introduced on the same day.

Bingo! 27 only 24 years old.
24 was kicked into Changi Airport in 1983. Which is 29 years of Changi History.
