Highly unlikely. WAB is of a higher possibility.

Two weeks later 860 will become TIB1218R's favourite service (though priority still 812)
Hey guys! Which is your favourite bus reps? Do share with us here!
No more than 5 buses from SBST and SMRT/TIBS respectively, and no more than 5 services regardless of public transport operator.
For me,
SBST: SBS3017J, SBS8282B, SBS8375S, SBS8501U, SBS9615T
SMRT/TIBS: TIB798P, TIB976S, TIB1138M, TIB1147L, SMB144D
Bus Service Reps: 54, 56, 166, 851

If it is really bendies, will it be O530G, MAN NG363 or MAN Lion City G? I will be in heaven already
!
Anyways, I've already given a suggestion to LTA in facebook to not remove bendies. It is really a LIMIT and not a ban...
Ang Mo Kio Depot's lease is going to be up soon. SMRT will have to move the depot elsewhere which thus they can build a double decker friendly depot to replace. They also had built a new one for Woodlands as well which is double decker friendly as well.
The govt is looking into Hong Kong transportation as a role model for its future public transport system. Thus Singapore system might most likely to adopt from Hong Kong version with slight changes for local needs. It is highly likely more double deckers in future, especially for SBST. Not sure about SMRT but it is better for them to operate fully on single deckers if they stubbornly do not use double deckers. Bendy buses are not recommended and suitable for the future in Singapore public transport system, especially there will be more buses and more bus services.
What I see now in Woodlands, Yishun and Chua Chu Kang is already chhaotic enough

I saw it twice. It crossovers to 969 and 599 during Weekdays AM Peak and a random 12m bus will replace it during Weekdays PM Peak. That's why you'll hardly ever see this bus. It appears around 8am at Jln Bt Merah heading towards Bt Merah Bus Int.

They can just limit the number of bendies to 50 or 100 and limit the number of bendies on a service.

Mine is 960
Mine are Services 131, 197, 145, 124(When they had O405s in the past...)
Current ones are 960, 190, 169, 969, 188, 963, all YIS/WDL/CCK feeders.

Get well soon...
Do you all find it strange that MANs, OC500LEs, KUBs and bendies and some others are the ones who always breakdown regularly. Izit because of Hispano Carrocera and Gemilang's fault?
And the MAN's windows can crack easily by the washer...
MANs front seems to use aluminium while Citaros use steel. Dunno why Citaros don't get into accidents or breakdowns that regularly. Due to good evobus gmbh bodywork or something else or just pure luck?

Pretty pointless.
Would be better to operate a ful fleet of single deckers with better frequencies and more efficient operations.

Rare to see bus fan living in Little India..![]()

Not really, bendies can be good advantages just that not many of us realise it.

Yeah, but very common to see bus fans in Yishun ![]()

So, how's life there? Fun or not?

Only 1 to 2 advantages but it has much more disadvantages than other types of buses. And practically, it is not suitable for Singapore crowded road demographics and shrinking yet demanding bus operations and space constraints, especially for the future.

That's why I say that it has good advantages just that we don't realise it.
I wonder how crazy it will be if 190 converted to full single rigid. Can have many of these single rigids but will cause more problems than bendies.
But anyway, I dun intend to start a flame war here. Again, it is based on our own opinions and viewpoint. I do like double dockers as well, so yeah.
How nice.
The disadvantages are tangible and dreadful.
The advantages are somehow intangible but yet might at some point in time and space, outweigh the disadvantages.

Service 860's berth are up at Yishun Interchange
It's at berth 6, current empty berth behind 171/812/AC7...
Bendies, 7 advantages vs 3 disadvantages(how many times must I list this down...)
1. 997A is just a bus. Sure, I had good memories of it. But it really is just a vehicle for service-providing. Time is up, I would not wish to put it on revenue service just for the sake of doing so.
2. If variety is what you want, then of course bendies for you then. 1/72 scale bendies. To add to your colourful variety of buses. If variety is what you want, you can suggest SAF to purchase 100 guns of each type you can think of, and happily go for 5 ICT a year after ORD trying to learn all of them.
3. The public doesn't quite agree with all the "good" points you listed. You can try asking around. On services like 188 along Pasir Panjang Rd, just one bendy will make you weep at the bus-stop, waiting for the bus behind to pick you up. All the public remembers is the 0405Gs burning into heaps of smouldering metal, and motion sickness at the rear (go find ST forum letters).
4. COI bothered to even pinpoint a specific variety of bus that limited response flexibility of PTO. This is really surprising IMO. And I'm not sure if you realise what this actually means. It doesn't mean outright ban. It probably meant worse.
