Since the requirements set by SMRT requires the dds to have 10,500cc, there isn't many Euro 5 engines which meets this requirement. I did some research and I found out that only the 10.8L Cummins ISMe Euro 5 meets this requirement. All other engines such as the Volvo D9B, Cummins ISLe and the Scania DC9 is all under 10,500cc.

Please lah, you everything want this want that. Go to another country like HK, have alot of this type of models. Plus all VO are being replaced by the new 550 wrights, and there are still some leftovers which I assume is to replace 16 more B10Ms Mk IV(include 997A) as there are 466 B10Ms Mk IV. By the time want this bus, probably cease in production.
