As long as the wheel does not fall off during the bus operation, they can do anything to the vehicle's wheels.

AMDEP still got 1 citaro left for BSEP.
Why not DD for 238? If no restrictions then I find it real dumb for Citaros to do 238.

Space restrictions along the turn from Toa Payoh East to Lor 8 Toa Payoh.

Yup. They even trialled a DD before on service 238...
When SBST try out a DD bus on 238? Where got space restriction on the turn? many lorry and container turn there before. DD bus not popular as 238 trip is short and not many people want to go upper deck.

Ask Tamago...he was the one who said that DDs had problem turning there.
vehicles having 3 axles or more could not do the right turn from lor 7 into lor 8.
all the trailers and heavy vehicles who want to enter lorong 8 have to enter lorong 7 from lorong 6, then make the left turn into lorong 8.
i would personally prefer not to have DDs on 238. I'd prefer a 4-6min headway for a single deck than a 7-9min headway for a DD. In addition, there has not been any new developments along the route lately that resulted in an increase in patronage of the service.

True that... maybe mass fleet add for 238 will be better then.
Can try the 27 method - every 3 min one bus, liddat not need have packed buses alr. Coz that svc can get really out of control even during off-peak.
