I waited 1 and a half year to wait for my 163 to finally do a comeback... After 34 and 156 took two of its KUB away.
It takes a long time to recover lost buses u noe... I got into flame wars when 8629K left 163 initially... but I did endure afterwards and stopped whining... And after all these times it got 8767 and 8998 finally... and also brought in tridents and 3161A to chase the horrible DMs away... I was seeing the moment of glory!
It takes time, and if u wait and try not to think about it so much you will find it coming your way... Like how all of us waited for the first citaro to step into HGDEP...

i was hoping citaro g pop out but since they don't want can take in MAN NG363 for the feeder/intratown svcs.
I hope this doesn't start another flamewar...
1 new unregistered Citaro parked in BNDEP at the Service 3 parking lot in depot two days ago. Really unregistered cause not even a rego plate is present.

Just checked OM, there are still 42 unregistered batch 1 citaros and 450 unregistered batch 2 citaros.

Maybe that is SBS6169J? Or SBS6169J still in Pandan C&C?

6169J still at C&C with a rego plate.

It's weird cause BNDEP's previous new Citaros arrived at least with their rego plates there already. this one is like really new new go straight there, don't even need a rego plate yet. HAHA.

C&C run out of space? Just a random guess.

Maybe for testing??? Some new buses have trade plates roaming around before it gets registered...

This won't happen.

it is under LTA BSEP program.... there are few regoless citaros in AMDEP as well. One was clean up nicely and they pasted on windscreen a paper "Bus Cleaning is Done, do not dirty the bus". I think most likely prepare for some launching ceremony. soon...

163 should have gotten all these upgrades long time ago, when HGDEP started to trade their VO3x to SLBP and got some K230UBs in return, apart from taking in new batch of Citaros, and there seemed to have hopes for 163 then.
Rather, the former SLBP K230UBs went to boost up on other WAB services and 163 remained status quo. And when the 2 MK3s were taken out from service, it was rather disappointing that 163 got only 1907D and 938X from 82 and 158 respectively (which got the Citaros instead). Things turn slightly better when 163 needed more DDs and 938X direct exchanged with 9678L from 62.
8998U was initially meant to be a replacement bus for 788L on 43 earlier this year. It was the implementation of full day VO3x on 43 that sent 8998U (and 2652G) out to SP.
Now with a few more new buses added into 163's fleet, and furthermore the sawtooth berth side at TPY int had been modified with PIW facilities, might be a possibility that 163 is preparing to go WAB at anytime soon.

If the cleaning is done also for BNDEP, I see it kind of poinless that BNDEP chose to park it right beside the road at the Sv 3's parking lot? Like everyday so many dump trucks/cement mixers/heavy goods vehicles zoom past that street, HAHA.

i would think that it is the interior that is clean...... exterior can be easily wash/clean....
SBS6126H and SBS6152G of rimguard have been removed.

Is it still there???
I noticed 2 Citaros last week as well in Harbourfront terminal last week, not in service and paste a white paper on the windscreen.
Already in service buses, one is SBS6169_, another forgot.
