i think he should go to sin ming there and have a look. too bad I guess he won't even bother to go over
52 1 bus 1hr10min.
410 drag until 30 mins.
162 55mins.
in the sin ming vicinity.
Sorry horh~ Am talking about something that's happened a few years back~ Before even BSEP was introduced. This year was far better than that year I went to. And goodness sake, don't know when it happened, don't anyhow bomb and say people don't know, like as if you know the entire thing
(No wonder people named you guys as bus freak)
Do you even know something? Before the O405s were out of svc, svc130 was better(I presume). The Mercz I took(on 130A) was somewhat almost empty(less than 15 passengers?), also during Qing Ming Festival and with a front bus(130), not far from it. This year's 130A I took was like almost fully seated, and yes there's also a front bus(130) which eventually bunched up at Sin Ming Ave.
Feedbacks can take/see as complain, steady liao lorh you~~
Originally posted by SMB66X:Nope, not even on Qing Ming Festival. I can see either passengers gave up on 130/130A and take Taxi, or take other possible transport. The no. of 130 passengers some how decrease a little. And the waiting time is a little long sometimes
The 130As macham only have 1 bus.
Yes it's years ago, but up till now, there's still sometimes where you need wait longer(Regardless of jam or whatever). That's why they should add a BSEP bus to 130, or some fleet add, especially during the Qing Ming festival to ease the waiting time. The queue is long also. If they can increase the number of trips for 130A, wouldn't that be better? They can even divert the route from AMK to Sin Ming Ave if possible, when there's jam. Now got BSEP already, no "excuse" for not having enough buses to addon to the fleet.
When they take taxi, there's sure to have some other road to reach the destination. They can avoid the jam too? Don't forget there's not only 1 way to reach there. Even so, I think they prefer to take taxi down, fork out some $$ just for this 1 year 1 time festival, and not being stingy about the $$. Otherwise, it's their own personal vehicles.

next thing, the car traffic is getting heavier as the year goes in reality.. and for in case you think we dunno a thing… the temple mgmt has stepped up efforts to manage traffic flow in the area.. which is why as what you said, the bus movement is much better…
Who isn't fed up? They know it's Qing Ming, but that doesn't mean it's an excuse for long delays? I don't think because of Christmas, the MRT will travel slower?
For this year, I see not much jam when coming to Sin Ming area, even for the trip back to Ang Mio Kio. But as far as I know, they are making a carpark that's most likely used for parking only and not for offering area anymore.
Let's see if this can improve svcs flow when passing the area then? Or better, there's a need for direct shortworking trip for 130A, from AMK to Sin Ming Ave non-stop and increase the frequency. If both improves, I think passengers(Even from bus stop boarding) would benefits.

MRT slower when rain~ bitch please~

Rigid minded...Around the clock 24/7 during Xmas is raining all day long lah?
Someone talking like he very big and know lots of things. Also very smart. Can inject some other years-ago things into the topic when he didn't even mention it first. Scared of being exposed?
Wow...whoever you're mentioning, aren't you also talking big here too? How about this then? Someone also mentioned about 130's frequency, still can talk big also ![]()
Don't wanna say much~ Shall see if the NEW Carpark will improve the bus frequency and traffic flow~
Anyway, MRT don't travel slower(all the time) when it's raining~ Unless it's huge storm. And mind you, Christmas season may be raining everyday, but there's ought to have some days where there isn't any rain~
under raining conditions
TO will have to enter in CM at 40km/h
not all the times
they can enter in AM
as for conditions at sin ming, it has improved. lesser jams along the road

Don't tell me that they also slowed down even during raining(referring to light rain)? oO Cus I don't remember train going slower when it's raining.

SMB 13**(A-Z)
- BSEP Batch ONE(1)
SMB 30**(A-Z)
- BSEP Batch TWO(2)
Nope. SMB13xx is Batch 2 not under BSEP. SMB3001M to SMB3034T is BSEP Batch 1 and SMB3034T to SMB3048 is BSEP batch 2.
