Think you know nothing about a commuter's feelings. Just a selfish primary school boy behind a screen. If you think it is so easy, why not try it yourself. Everyday I stand the 30 minute ride from Tampines to Sengkang. It isn't a lot of fun to stand on a bumpy KUB, and also since 27's BCs are known for its deep accelerations and turns, losing balance from side to side is not nice too. Good for you to know the buses boy, dont just say it so easy.
Not that we are saying that standing on the northbound svcs are relaxing, but however you should not say 27's standing is nothing to theirs. And I won't mind standing on those svcs since they are shorter in distance after the expressway.

I contribute to the society, unlike you who complain all day and take everything as your advantage. I am not complaining. I am justifying facts. Though yes, I do feel tired standing the trip, with my heavy backpack and in my stuffy suit.

It takes only 5-10 mins from Sengkang to Tampines, is it??? And why are you even comparing it to 161 and 168 both that are full fleet DDs??
Have you tried standing in a crowded 27 Citaro all the way on TPE to Tampines or the other way around? I would never take a 27 to Tampines, rather prefer to drive down. There are many who do not opt for 27 in the first place because they dont want their balls to be pressed against someone elses!!

78/79 are mainly for weekday operations. I am not sure how many of the industries work on Sunday here, but the buses are always empty on Sundays. -

Rather have SBST do the 118 to BPJ. After all Punggol comes under SBST. They can just introduce 118 to Jurong or Boon Lay via BPJ. This will also help to relieve loads on sv 187/180. SBST also has a lot of SP buses to deploy. Dunno why LTA wants to give more services to SMRT when they already threaten to quit.
