I believe those buses will be based at BNDEP. They might be taking over the Scania OACs which were seen rotating around trunk routes of Bedok/Tampines/Pasir Ris.Originally posted by xin1jun2:hi

Service 35 have been getting aircon buses since last year, not sure though when it really started having aircon buses. SBST is 'cutting costs' by not advertising the conversion of Service 35 to a partial aircon service. Usually MK3s were deployed with either an OAC or CAC Scanias making guest appearance in the evening. This is the first time ever since the beginning of Service 35, a Superbus is deployed.Originally posted by tranquilice:Since when did service 35 get air-con buses? Thank for the info, I didn't know about air-con buses on service 35 as I always saw VO 2 axle on this service.Originally posted by Superbus:Service 35 have been getting aircon buses since last year, not sure though when it really started having aircon buses. Cheers and warm regards
There are no more MK2s based at BNDEP, AFAIK. Even Service 3, which is the last service using MK2s, is now using NAC Scanias.Originally posted by SBS9819Y:Are there B10M Mk IIs based in BNDEP? If yes, those new buses should be taking over them rather than the N113s. Nearly two more years of suffering for Captain.![]()
The new livery bus is indeed 999U. However I'm still not sure about the other 2 buses, but I'm positive it's neither an O405 or an L113CRL, coz the a/c model is different from the abovementioned buses.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Hmm, could the bus in the white livery be a PA-registered O405 or a SBS Leisure Scania L113CRL? So the new-liveried bus was actually 999U?
I don't think SBS Transit will be getting more double decker buses for the next few years after the present batch of Volvo Super Olympians. They will be concentrating on the phasing out of Scania N113s, Mercedes O405 and Volvo MK2s. The new batch of double deckers, I suppose, would come on after the Leyland Olympians reached 15 years of age.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Hmm, we have to see when the next batch of new buses appear on Singapore roads.
