  Towards its future of 17 years of service on the roads~

  SMRT's latest MAN NG363F A24 "MANDY" bus SMB388S - successor of the TIB838H Mercedes Benz O405G demonstrator bus which had been retired prior to SMB388S being introduced into service. The rear EDS is configured to the left like its MAN NL323F cousins.

  Persisting in the use of bendies is not likely to be good for themselves in the long run.

  If it's because they have to replace the old bendies in short notice then this is a really short-sighted shit-in-ass-need-to-let-go-now decision to make...

  Hmm maybe MAN gave them free trial since SMRT ardy purchased more A22s?I wonder why the MAN 3 axles 13.7m DDs is not allowed in Singapore?The DD height is slightly lower than those B9TLs beside the length

  Hmm..why aren't the aircon duct changed? It was chilly and cold on SMB1313B and SMB3033X just now, as if it's like a Northpole.

  The blocky old style TIBS era number fonts currently on SMB388S's Gorba electronic signage controller feels more suited for Mandy than the now-common Gorba thin number font used on majority of the other Gorba-equipped bendy buses.

  The bolded number font seems to help enhance the visual impact of the bus when looking from the front. Legacy stuffs does looks better than new on new bus....? ;)
