SMRT's MAN A24 bendy bus

  If 388s go maintenance need to replace with a bendy or two 12m bus.

  SMRT needs to buy more a24 but change to single seater(both side) and have pole in the centre in the front half. i think SMRT needs to change to Foldable Seat at the back too(second exit door place) to take in more Standees.

  Actually if the drivers were to make the passengers have faith in them by ensuring that the driver will always wait patienly for them to alight, I don't think there's a need to change the seating plan.

  Would rather have SMRT Buses right from the start get MAN NL323F buses starting from SMB1H lol.

  But SBST seating plan best, take 2 seats before PIW. SMRT single seating both seat front left/right ok too, But must put a pole on the centre for ppl to hold.Behind dont really need. The seating for 1369R behind is an exact no need.

  Yeap, SBST planned that beautifully. Except I'm wondering will they start ti reconfigure their seating arrangements... Maybe not.
  
  The last rearranging of seats was SBS910A which is gone. Some Lo3x had some of their seats removed to have standee space.

  SMRT seating behind take out seat wasting money, cannot take one extra person to seat the seat behind like 1369R. hope the coming buses will have better seating configuration.

  If SMRT want to create more standing space for th MAN A22 buses,the front of the bus should follow like SBS Transit Scania K230UB seating arrangement.

  KUB seating arrangement is creepy and uncomfortable~ SMRT should buy more MANdy to create more standing space~

  No use lah...I've given feedback to SMRT(via fb) and some drivers whom I know, the feedback wasn't replied(or at least some updates since they already stated that it requires time to gain some evidence or something) and worst still...I heard from the drivers whom I've given the feedback to that the company don't even listen to them

  Oh.. SMRT dont want to earn money than never mind. SMRT can just have single seats(front) with pole in the centre divided into three like MRT. Behind no need care la. Just return to normal.

  The replacements for the Hispano MK I bodied Mercedes Benz O405G with a couple of MAN NG363F MANdys with similar SMB388S specifications (seems to be) already delivered and awaiting registration with SMRT Buses!

  I foresee SMRT won't buy many bendies this time.Most of it will be exclusively for feeders/Intratown/Short trunk like 859 or height restrict areas.I don't rule out they're planning for high power DDs for trunk Svc like 187/190/963

  If anything, I think bendies should be reserved mainly for express routes. Some feeders and townlinks can use DD. Seriously why does Singapore need to have its cake and eat it? It is either DD or bendy but not both, as far as I am concerned. It is also clear that the DD is more efficient as a high-capacity bus in our environment. The VO3X carries 7 more pax than the O405G, but the latter takes up 1.5x more road space than the former.
