Realised the majority alight at Sengkang MRT station.
Also do note that the numbers recorded from the list EXCLUDES me.
In case if you are not sure what I am referring to, here is a link in PDF.
I also chatted with a old man who also took 50 from Bishan Int to Punggol Int. And also ask if I was from the Channel 8 show 线追踪.

Yup. One of which is the female BC whom normally drove 163 during AM shifts. She had been with 163 ever since the route extension to Sengkang in Dec 2002. Spotted her driving one of the service 50 WEGs yesterday...

You are the first one I found here after me, who notes down the loading pattern of buses. I took svc 50 on Tuesday - have posted my route analysis. Peak loading was 29pax, and yes most people get down at Sengkang Station.

Peak loading, you mean during 1) peak hours or 2) the highest no. of people on the bus?
If it is the 2nd one, then it would be 22 for mine.
Relax too early to predict..Wait for school reopen Lor then can see.

Peak loading = highest # pax in the bus
The loading of a new service should be evaluated only one month after it is launched to know if it is successful or not. Need that much time for people to get used to the bus route.
Must try this service one day when I am free...

The B9TL WEG2 buses are like that, they have a strange smell especially when they have just come to service on the first day.

Agree. I think its the Seats that are smelly
Don't think so, I think is more of the aircon ducts. But the smell will subside after some time.
The 75__ series do not have the smell anymore.
That's the smell of new PVC cushion plus body sealant
Actually 50 can solely Amdep.52 Amdep can take 3-4 duties while 59 Bndep can take 6-7 duties when new Upp Changi bus park is up.Suspect Eunos should be under Bndep. Those ex Brbp Eunos buses can go to St Michaels and Bishan svc.I prefer Brbp take 54,57,124 & 125
I tink some of the passengers still dunno where does service 50 ply. Went from Toa Payoh to Sengkang on service 163, there was a WEG service 50 infront of the bus. Then I overheard a conversation with 2 aunties:
First auntie: Eh? Service 50 got come here? Next time take service 50 i tink faster then 163.
Second auntie: Huh? what service 50? Never hear before!
First auntie: There! The new one la! I tink take this one (Sv 50) from SK west to compass point faster then 163 leh.
So i alighted from service 163 and boarded service 50 at Pei Hwa sec. Much faster then service 163 to get to Compass point. Unlike 163 which winds around Sengkang East area.

you think every one go read SBST press release or see the notice at the bus stop?
bery fast
nt many ppl board and alight
for now
Seems like there are more people who know about this service now. Now load is quite good even though it's off peak hours or during weekends, though there aren't many people boarding at the punggol east area.
Load is still the highest during peak hours though, ever since ITE College Central commenced operations last Monday.
ya loh ya loh
