Tell me more about premium 531(smrt)

... i was talking about sbs transit premium services.

Anyway, 511, 512 & 520 were peak-hour routes before their eventual withdrawal.
971E under SMRT is considered an express svc, though the numbering is strange because express svcs with 'E' like 963E are based on a parent service while 868 with no parent service is assigned a totally different number. Wonder what they'll call the other new express svcs coming in 2013 to Yishun and CCK.
Actually Fast Forward is just SBST branding, and is also considered 'Express' service in terms of the fares. SMRT just lumps them all together as Express services, regardless whether there is a parent route.

For Tampines residents, there will be a new Express Service 513 plying between Tampines West and the CBD from 17 Dec!
With limited stops and the use of ECP, the journey time is expected to be comparable to taking a feeder service and transferring to a train into the city. This service will operate two trips on weekday mornings at 7.30am and 7.45am from Tampines Ave 5 towards Shenton Way. In the evening peak hours, the service will operate two return trips from Anson Road towards Tampines Ave 5 at 6.15pm and 6.30pm.

Crossovers? Like preimuim services like that i guess...
No... they will likely cross over to another service under BSEP in Tampines. But we will see.
Let's hope it will became a full day service soon, plying via MBS during the weekends, and maybe extend to Harbourfront as well.
I think high chance Sv 513 will get 1 Wright & 1 Citaro, instead of the 2 Citaros almost everyone thought it might be getting..
Because Sv 229, which was mentioned in the SBST release as part of the improved services in the Q4 2012 under BSEP scheme, hasn't gotten any BSEP fleet add yet in case anyone hasn't noticed. Which means the next round, definitely Sv 229 will be getting one otherwise SBST wouldn't have published that.
1 Wright & 1 Citaro to gauge the demand.

looking at the press release (31 bsep fleet add for 28 services) n e-timetable, this time round 229 317 335 both will get 2 buses as fleet add... dun think they will deploy wright.. so just nice 7 citaro from 6335 to 6341 for 229 284 317 335 while 262 should be getting 6314... so sv50 will be getting wrights n citaro while sv513 will be getting wrights....
if 513 is getting citaros, then really no point introducing it at all... defect the purpose of bsep.
