  Come to think of it, I still see 3615H on 291 ytd. Suspect it to be perm, as i dont see some of the VO3x around any more.

  It seems to be replacing 9411 which MIA since it brokedown like a month ago.

  Suspect 889D to perm BN 9. Been sticking to the same slot in the afternoon at 3 plus towards bedok since June this year. Might be replacing one of the Dd buses. I dont see as many as 11 DDs on 9 every day though it says so.

  I would be surprised if they reduce capacity on sv 9. The loading from Simei MRT to Tampines Ave 2 in both directions is quite substantial unless sv 20 has taken away some loading (but I doubt). You can see at Simei MRT itself around 70-80pax boarding the bus and the MK4s and Citaros cannot clear the whole load.

  There is 9A from bedok int to loyang area in the evenings though. I dont think it also haa the intention of new wrights to replace the Dds. Usually it is the older buses that does the job. But it is more certain that 889D joins its other perm Sds. Usually you will see 3 or so Sd coming then a Dd comes around in the late afternoon.

  I beg to differ though. I think 889D or any other SP Mk4 on Sv 9 lately would be a stop-gap measure instead. Sv 9 needs the DDs (you can refer to my other post in the 'Redeployments' thread) to clear out the people. More likely they're just waiting for a greater bunch of Wrights to arrive in BN first before any of those goes to Sv 9 as perm.

  Serious talk our people is too pampered, 1 SD come 50 pax can't clear complain and rear bus dd come not full also not happy.I've seen an sd clear about 60 pax in Bangkok, KL, Delhi etc without fuss. Just be grateful la our tpt system is one of d best in Asia

  It is!! No doubt!! And I agree with you - we people love to complain. Don't want to walk even 05 minutes to the next stop. Want bus service at door step. If you have one service, want to complain that need 2 bus services serving their community.

  I strongly advocate use of higher capacity buses to give more comfortable journey to people and we are a developed nation, so we should do that.

  But what I think is stupid is politics ruling bus services. Some non-revenue services still operating because of MLAs. So much redundancy in some service. Need to change but cannot because people will complain even if they have other services.

  Classic example is 113. Useless route from Kovan to Hougang, but some complain that need direct service from Kovan MRT to HG Ave 6 (one bus stop). LOL

  Because some people thought they co own the bus company...And of course bus company and drivers aint Angel too..Got bsep but also to cater the uprising population that come from India, Philippines and China so longer waiting times will be standard issue again

  SBS2711U is more or less perm 99

  coz seeing it on the same slot almost everyday. even if it is missing, only for 1-2 days, then come back do 99 like almost majority of the days in a week. but this bus not replacing 2745
