On perm service today...
Originally posted by Rui jing:8257A and 8410Z can confirm is not perm 160 at all. These buses are based sometimes at clementi int and used on 196 a few times last week.
How about 8072R? is this bus perm?
8072R still on 160

Alright thanks. :)

8059E is likely not perm anymore. I notice the trend of a ex-AR jb regged kub being left as spares at BB instead for cross border 160/170.
Like how 8049/8079/8104/8114D seen cameoing on various AR/BB services..
Likely it is 8050D as one of the 170 perms. Couple of times seen it on 170.

I even thought it was 175 perm! ![]()
SMB344T
WLDEP 963R > WLDEP 911E*/169A*/169*/963E*/963R
SMB352U
WLDEP 963/911E*/169A*/169*/963E* > WLDEP 963
352U doesn't seem to perform on 963S159, but when I take SMB344T on SWT 911E, it's always under 963S159. SMB344T seen performing on 169A most of the weekdays, and subsequently one full trip of 169.
As for the 963E part, I need some time to observe more. Random rigid buses are always replacing 352U slot on 963E.
Anyway, anyone saw SMB352U recently?
One more.
SMB42P
KJDEP 970/925* > KJDEP 970
SMB88H
KJDEP 970 > KJDEP 970/925*
88H is often seen more than 42P on 925 during weekdays morning.
Duty is under 970 Split Shift.

Abit OT, but I've been wanting to say this for a long long time:
Considering Sv 963R is only a Weekends/PH-only service, those buses edited as perm 963R on Wiki are effectively SP buses on Weekdays, ain't it?
So idk which guy back then edited it from WL SP/963R to be WL 963R for those 34x something MANs. IMO, it doesn't really make sense to put a weekend-only svc as a perm status for a bus, when the other 5 weekdays (which is > the 2 weekend days in a week) it's running around as a SP.
And if what you said about your suspected redeployment is true, that's really a crazy amount of perms for a SMRT bus to have. You should re-look into that?

Such a perm status seemed to exist somewhere around when TIB427K is re-refurbished in 2011...and nobody has made any criticism about that at all back then.

Nobody made any criticism doesn't mean that the perm status is correct logically? It just means that I probably give abit more attention to it than other people who can't be bothered.
If you go and properly use some logic to think about it, and then go and actually see how many spottings of those 4 MANs running around every weekday on diff svcs like SP buses, you'll see the flawed logic in the current perm status for those buses.
New Part 4 thread is up... Actually expected this to happen soon...

I am just expressing my observations in relations to the perm status...I have nothing to say about the perm status itself somewhat, because I don't really go and observe those perm status or slots the buses are on...by the way, I am referring to the one with 5 perm services at once...

Think this has happened quite sometime ago..i rmb i did raise up this slot before..coz at that time this slot was not reflected anywhere yet so at that time i thought it was a new crossover slot.. it will reach CCK INT around 0845hrs..
