I believe this 10 Volgrens will replace the Lances on 853(or cameo around 811/812/806 etc.) like the Lances do. Thereafter, I don't think 853 is going WAB that soon unless they throw back those Volgrens and in-take MANs~
WLDEP gave OC500LEs to KJDEP in order to up 173 and 941 to WABs (947 maybe soon to come). Also taking that chance to clear off all the Hinos as well.
I also wonder, why 853 is diverted to ply along KTPH and it is not WAB? Whereas other services like 811, 851, 852, 855, 857, all WAB but not the ones going to KTPH. It seems illogical this way... ![]()

AM... A pullover means the bus was used on another service for a trip or two. It was on 1 trip of 10. It returned to 72 after the trip. The next day it cameo again...

If the demand for KTPH is so big that they need another WAB svc, Most likely it would be 853 but for now the demand is not there.
