Oh yeah, speaking of which, where is the bus right now? SBS Transit don't even bother to apply for lay up for damaged buses involved in serious accidents which left us clueless.

I guess SBS (probably) thinks that:
For SBS9592A case: Since it is retiring in a year's time, just pay the road tax one more time and send it to scrap when time comes, now just leave it at a corner of the depot to salvage spare parts.
For SBS2703T case: Since DM is no longer around and parts are difficult to get, just keep it as a spare bus, literally a "spare" bus.
For RD6066L case: Waste $$$ converting a china bus to full electric, later not working then wasted, just leave it at NTU and forget about it.

2703T accident before? And 9592A if repaired it may get extension coz usually batch 2 re in good shape and usable. Btw remind me abt 9536M how is it? At this rate think beyond repair and 70% chance deregister

According to my friend, a 179 Wright (rego unknown) was hit in the rear by an NTU shuttle bus last week. Location was outside Wee Kim Wee stop...179 rear slight dented..

Look for exterior and interior, probably BC jammed brake in time so no damage, the taxi hit the road sign.
one reason
According to The Straits Times dated today 5 November 2013, another SBS89xx (based on the profile picture) was involved in an accident with a Comfort taxi during the daytime yesterday.

SBS9536M is laid up. My post stated that SBS Transit don't even bother to apply for lay up for those buses involved in serious accidents since months ago (e.g. SBS7558M, SBS9592A etc).

SBS 6140R Kena accident with car pic taken from facebook !

SBS9485B broke down at Tampines Int today, reason unknown.
Time spotted 5.20pm, recovery truck YK2462H arrived at 5.30pm and the mechanics used a water pipe on the engine (perhaps to wash or cool down) before the engine came back to live again at around 5.35pm. It later drove away off service.
