SBS Transit is short of buses IMO. Even the PA Mercedes are out in public service, e.g. svc 195 and 282.Originally posted by tranquilice:Scania 113 on service 36 plying Orchard Rd, do you call that lousy service?
Yes, you are right. Quite shock to see PA 0405 on service 282.Originally posted by off_service:SBS Transit is short of buses IMO. Even the PA Mercedes are out in public service, e.g. svc 195 and 282.
SBST short of MK4 buses to use on service 36? Saw a MK3 OAC on this service today.Originally posted by off_service:SBS Transit is short of buses IMO. Even the PA Mercedes are out in public service, e.g. svc 195 and 282.
Quite true...still prefer those drivers to smile especially in the morning cos it really make yr day man...though yr day still suxOriginally posted by Airbus330Captain:I noticed that when drivers get lousy buses , their service will dropped . I noticed drivers in SBS or TIBs driving scania buses or nissan diesel buses ( in my opinion , they are lousy !! ) they never smile and when they see their collagues driving bendy bus , VO or VSO , they refuse to look at them ... Any thoughts ?
Each driver should be given a chance to drive every different types of buses on the same service. I think that will be fair for them.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:I noticed that when drivers get lousy buses , their service will dropped . Nope, the Scania N113CRB driver is JEALOUS of the VSO driver for the pain fact he gets a new bus to drive, don't let your blatant dislike for certain buses cloud your judgement. I have seen happy, smiling drivers on N113CRBs before. Furthermore they are much quieter than B10M Mk IIs.Originally posted by off_service:Today i saw a Scania N113 on 168. I was on VSO SBS 9846 T. The VSO driver was looking at the Scania driver, and the scania driver gives a "what the !@#$" sign to the VSO driver. it is obvious that the Scania N113 driver is very unhappy with the bus.
So, lousy buses does not necessary operate on lousy services.
You should have seen Scania drivers complaining about the bus. They are quieter outside, not inside. Comfort wise, it's zero.Originally posted by SBS9818A:..., don't let your blatant dislike for certain buses cloud your judgement. I have seen happy, smiling drivers on N113CRBs before. This particular bus captain is just trying to be courteous and make the passengers happy. He took pride in his job. I don't see anything wrong with that. People may find it weird, but it's comforting to see happy drivers than black faced drivers right?Originally posted by oliver_yuen87:What about the driver on 74? Always say "Hello good afternoon", even when he's driving NAC Mk 2... my friends always laugh at him though, calling him "the hello good afternoon man".he sounds desperate for an award!!
Well, well, some drivers who are driving MB O.405 also have sulky expression when they drive their buses. Even some VSOs' drivers express their sulky faces too. From this, I can help to draw a conclusion that it isn't that the drivers hate the buses, but maybe they might have a bad day, etc. Scania Buses aren't that bad, but the OAC ones are quite lousy, in terms of the air-conditioning system of the bus.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:I noticed that when drivers get lousy buses , their service will dropped . Try the Foo twins of Sv. 169, they without fail always greet passengers, one is driving TIB 799S.Originally posted by oliver_yuen87:What about the driver on 74? Bravo Jack! It is true, it is dependent on the driver's mood, not the bus he or she is driving. That is secondary.Originally posted by SBS9816E:Well, well, some drivers who are driving MB O.405 also have sulky expression when they drive their buses. Actually there are alot of good drivers out there, except that people normally forget abt them and did not nominate them. They just move on being unnoticed.Originally posted by Rachel_Lim:HmmmmmThe license number is TIB 799 L, not TIB 799 S
They are the Foo Brothers
Not twins
But then anyway....
Another few others who without fail also greet peeps ones are Nagarajah A/L Puthiah of Service 106... Shahir Bin Othman of Service 75...
They are also courteous ones
OK lahz, I'm not so expert with TIBS buses OK? I haven't taken one for quite a while.Originally posted by Rachel_Lim:HmmmmmThe license number is TIB 799 L, not TIB 799 S
