I have been editing on another wikia page for a month and gotten used to wikia editing. I happen to chance across this Singapore Buses Wikia site and I decided to adopt this wikia. Meanwhile I updated the main page already:
http://singaporebuses.wikia.com/wiki/Singapore_Buses_Wiki
You may be asking: SGWiki is good enough, there is no need for another wiki.
My answer: Yes, SGWiki is good enough, but wikia provides more flexibility in editing, and if I successfully adopt the Wiki I will be able to add features like chat and forums for example. I will also be able to do it in a slightly different style than SGWiki and be able to provide news on the page also.
So I need the help of our fellow bus enthusiasts to "revive" the page. But for now I need you all to do a poll on the main page first. Thanks!
Voted. Go for it. If you happen to be committed and maintain up-to-date data with a better look and feel, many would be interested. If you leave it in between, all your effort and time is a waste. All the best.
Well I have updated many of the pages. Currently I am still experimenting with the styles for each page, so there is some inconsistency with the pages.
A completed page should look something like this:
http://singaporebuses.wikia.com/wiki/Scania_L94UB
As for retired buses I kept the specs:
http://singaporebuses.wikia.com/wiki/Dennis_Dart
What do you all think?
I like it. Btw, is there anyway we can edit?

Sure. Sign up for an account. Though there may be pages that are still unprotected. Signing for an account also keeps tracks of your edits, and you won't be affected if an IP address has been previously blocked due to vandalism. I urge you all to come and help if possible. With a wikia account it also enables you to edit on other wikias, not only one.
Wiki update:
Done updating SBS Transit's SD fleet buses. I do hope that you all can create an account there to edit as well as to upload pictures since the galleries there need them.
Thanks SBS9C for the wiki revival :) it was a hard time handling the wiki with 2 admins (me and TIB770T) since the bus informations are revolving quicker than you'd expect; so i left it there for anyone to edit. thanks again. :)
Well I updated all the bus pages. But as soon I finish the pages start to get outdated. I need those with the latest info such as deployments and adverts to help with the pages by creating an account. Also I correctly sorted out all the Dennis Lances and managed to fill in some unknown spec data for a few buses based on research.
Here is the link again:

I need your opinions too.
Sometimes you may be blocked by the VSTF (Wikia's Volunteer Spam Task Force), it happens sometimes if you use a dynamic IP. If it happens refresh the page after awhile and you will be ok, no need to create another account.
Finally we have community editing :D
Got accepted as an admin. Time to make massive changes to the Wikia. I have added chat and forum, as well as fix up the tabs. What I have in plan is to also change the whole look of the Wikia.
What I need now:
1. Someone to add bus photos to the gallery (the more the better). Or permission to upload pictures.
2. Someone to help keep the pages updated. (If you have the latest deployments and adverts information please help edit).
3. More Users
You can also create an account there to use the forum and chat too.

Massive Wikia update. New design, new features, new look.
You can see it looks almost nothing like the old page anymore! I need your opinions too so as to continue improving the Wiki.
Can you make the layout more simple? The background color needs to be white. The black layout makes the page look dull and not reader-friendly. Thanks.
Wikia update:
Changed the protection for most pages (those that need editing and frequent updates) to none for those to do not want to create an account. Though to reduce vandalism, pages that do not need editing (such as retired buses or buses that haven't started service) are protected so that only registered/autoconfirmed users can edit.
If you have the latest deployment etc, please help to update.
