I agree 161 should have got Wright addition. Surprised to see 13, 76 and 90 in the list. The others are good choices.
13 could be coz of the Bendemeer - Kallang sector and as it is the sole service connecting Bishan - Bradell, Bradell - Potong.
76 already got capacity increase in last few months. So many parallel services. What's the need?
90 only peak hour loading. Has 3 DDs. Not enough?

What about 88 like lemon mentioned in his post?

u have to look at the frequency.. sv13 are having 10-15 mins frequency during peak period. they are trying to improve it to 10 mins..
for sv76, think u better go to the bus stops along AMK Ave 4 in the morning to look at the demands toward YCK terminal...when the buses are coming at 15 mins. and what do you mean by parallel services?so those ppl at amk ave 4/3 going to paya lebar katong etc does not need to deserve better frequency? sv76 got only 16 buses for a 3hr round trip journey.... is it enough?
likewise for sv90... buses are crowded... add one more at govt expense to help to relieve the load..
and BSEP program is to improve the frequency and make the buses less crowded so that ppl can wait shorter for the buses and can board the bus easier.. does not need to have good demands for the service to be under BSEP program.. or else, sv262 why gotten one fleet add under BSEP when the demand are so low?

What about 88? You mentioned it is getting BSEP. Is it getting or not??

For 76, I know the loading very well. One Wright at AMK Ave 4 takes off the entire load (you will not see pax left behind at the bus stop). Sometimes it is a problem when KUB shows up. Also, I see many people are not sure if they want to take bus to YCK or AMK. Sometimes they see 76 coming from opposite side and will cross the road.
Otherwise, I have also observed many people take 268 and get down at AMK Ave 9 and walk down under the shelter to YCK MRT. Ofcourse, doesn't hurt to get more buses. Why 1, add 2 buses!!

there is timetable change, but no one can confirm whether it is getting BSEP or not cos no e-timetable. wait till 18th march u will know...

yes.. problem is that u have to wait 15 mins for that particular DD to come.. that the main issue... that why ppl resorts to take sv268 and walk.... if it is raining, who want to walk to YCK mrt? if can add 4 buses even better....

the journey time is around 1hr (or 1hr 15 mins max) for one way.. 10 mins resting time is ok lah..... Sv76 driver also rest for only 10-20 mins after each trip (almost 3 hrs) with jump bus.. unless it is meal break...
161 should cut fleet to 9 buses and only 4 DDs.

This is ridiculous... You are simply contradicting what u have said to me before...
That was in fact the improved fleet of 161.
Its a fact.

put back 9842 9843 9844 9845??? + those DM3500s?
Dont think people realise just how far the 161 fleet has come over the years.
And still think 161 is "neglected"!
In fact I think 161 is doing quite ok now.
Of course ridership had risen substantially over the years, that's why the fleet became much larger with near-full DD already. But it is coping ok on the whole.
The 161 turn-around time for last time would probably amaze these people. As would do how 161 used to speed, including very bizarre and dangerous driving such as rolling a bus down-hill in neutral down SLE.
And 161 was no stranger to strange incidents.
Such as being stopped by TP for speeding.
And dropping a wheel off while moving with pax.

What happened to 9842 9843 9844 9845???Why the volgrens were removed?

Really? But kinda pity them for rushing up and down~ Unlike 168, during off peak hours, at least there's 1 bus inside the bus park(Woodlands Int) resting, until the next bus arrive. As for 161, there isn't any bus inside interchange.
Even if I compare the journey timing, I think it's still reasonable to at least add 1 more buses for AP to ensure the drivers have enough rest. :o
I think you haven't seen 151 at night at both terminals....non-stop 3 hr drive is not unusual for this service.
Curiously at night is also when 151 gets most most of its unusual cameos.
What's likely to explain this is HGDEP throws a single bus for a single run to and fro starting from HG Int after evening peak hour.
Usually the BC for such cameos finish the 3hr trip and rushes back to depot with just a quick stop at the alighting point.
Other buses, likely from BB side just pick up pax at HG without stopping for rest!
If that's true, then it should be improve also what?
No point comparing whose got the shortest break~~
I believe BSEP should be also help the drivers in one way or another to relieve stress when there's shorter break time.
Anyway, SBS3313D - 168~~ Either 2nd BSEP bus for 168, or replacing one of 168's fleet~

SBS3313D is currently sv50,unless there is a bus coming into sv50 to replace SBS3313D.

Not sure what bus replace 3313D on 50, but I find it weird to have 3313D on 168, when the timetable didn't change.
Any enlightenment ??
