SBS6325A - 161~~ Heard that it's emergency pull over...
You missed my point.
My point was that 161 need no more improvements than other services.
And as lemon and I pointed out, there really isn't much to pity about 161 because there are services we have both cited as examples.
And I think its current VO3X fleet was a vast improvement from its earlier years. Seriously.
In the past, missing a 161 bus would just mean a 20 min wait!

That's not a problem. It helps the country. More people > More consumption > Boosts economy, infrastructure, investment.
There was an article yesterday in the newspaper that explained how the MRT and bus network has improved because of population increase and we should treat this as a boon than be afraid of it. Just my two cents :)))
If we consider frequency of around 10-12 mins, to add more BSEP buses, I think the following services also need to get buses to improve frequency.
11, 18, 32, 38, 40, 42, 50, 59, 64, 84, 85, 93, 115, 136, 138, 142, 160, 185, 191, 197, 249, 252, 275.
Though most of the above bus services are doing just fine with their current fleet and there is no pressing need for additional buses.

Any enlightenment ??
cameo loh... 3300 also cameo on sv133 before.. likewise for other BSEP wrights.

almost all the services will get fleet add, but need time.. cos not enough buses /drivers... the minister already say mah... their target is wait less than 10 mins during peak....

I thought the Qos was within 15 mins for trunk services, and within 10 minutes for feeder services. Looks like with BSEP they are trying to get all services within 10 mins.
If that happens, many short distance people should switch to bus rather than taking the MRT for say 2 MRT stops.

185 is seldom pack during weedays... A 15 mins frequency where many students uses this route would be quite disastrous especially if it is a single deck bus.

Did you mean seldom? I agree with the latter part of your statement. Even if 185 mostly has 60-70 pax on board during peak hours, most of them are long-distance travellers as it is a point-to-point service for many HDB flats in Jurong / Boon Lay.

The problem is that many are unable to board, especially in the direction towards Soon Lee Bus Park. In the case of direction towards Buona Vista Terminal, I am not sure.
I realise some people at a few bus stops after JW Ave 1 are unable to board the single deck bus, and therefore they have to wait for the next one. It would be lucky that all/ almost everyone would be able to board if the next bus is double deck.
The heavy bus load is relieaved when more people got out near Gek Poh shopping centre there. This is the case I saw during mid-afternoon on weekdays.

if during sch time, 185 is packed in the afternoon if it is a Single deck... then at gek poh onwards getting lesser ppl.
twrds Buona vista terminal no issue so far from what i see...
With the current BSEP spare Wrights, I think as of 18-Mar, the deployment will be:
BNDEP: SBS3334T, SBS3335R, SBS3336M - svc 4
SLBP: SBS3332Z, SBS3333X - svc 182, svc 251
AMDEP: SBS3337K, SBS3338K, SBS3339E - svc 13, svc 25, svc 76

Of course you live around Jurong West Ave 1, you will sure believe my story if you take 185 regularly.

If it was for me, I would give the Wright first to svc 88, then svc 25, 76 and 13 in exactly that order. But not sure, if svc 88 is under BSEP for this around. Was it under last round, not sure if that got confirmed as well?
Any BSEP spottings for the March round today morning?

I do have a feeling that they may redeploy the older BSEP buses onto the newer services instead...

If the AMDEP Wrights went to 25, 76, 90... this means svc 13 must have got Citaro add. I thought 13 would get Wright and 90 would get the Citaro.
