Just asking..
Why is there a need for creating a new thread for Cameo Spottings for every single month..?

Overcrowding? already a "tradition" since long ago
it seem like everyone here have the mutual understanding to ignore certain ppl's long posts which alway contain lots of mathematics calculation.......
I do not think there will be the transfer of buses between depots in GCM. The reason is because the buses have their operator's logo on them, and the depots are managed by different operators. Even if an operator manages two or more depots, I do not think it will happen as the buses are assigned by the LTA to the GCM packages.
Nonetheless, I guess there will be the transfer of buses within the depot from time to time as buses are taken out of service for repairing or applying of advertisements.
With regards to the capacity, we have to wait and see how the change in capacity is done. I guess the interim measure is to use buses from the spare fleet while the long-term measure is that LTA gives the depot more buses.
Anyway, in the GCM, there will be more buses used on the affected bus routes, so capacity should not be an issue at least in the short-term.
Its better to use SG plate buses first for the new operators.
Why does HGDEP only have 3 Batch 1 Wrights while the rest of the depots have at least 20 Batch 1 Wrights?

BEACUSE ITS LIDDAT!

What significant difference does it make?Do the Batch 1 got 360hp/1800nm powerful than the subsequence batches?

302 yes, 67 negative, 960 negative. 190 bare pass. 188 can. 176 can. 903, 912, 913 got no choice.
300 & 806 are feeder services that don't want to be WAB.
67 Kranji side 60% WAB Amdep side 55% WAB also cannot get WAB??

It is not about don't want to be. There aren't enough HC WAB buses for existing WAB made buses to be compliant.
LTA should give SMRT huge fine for non complying.

maybe it is LTA who force SMRT to declare WAB status for these feeder services, as lots of PIW are unable to take these feeder service to MRT stations...and thus LTA also help in deploying more A22...
so at least there are chances that PIW can board these services..
Mr Tan again blasted SBST/LTA over the RSAF open house shuttle/sv90 operation on LTA facebook.... there are at least 8-9 DDs operating on last weekend, which is almost full fleet for sv90... but he is claiming that SBST is operating sv90 at 20 mins frequency...and blasted SBST for deploying buses to sv90 accordingly to crowd at TPY interchange... not sure what he wan... maybe he wan SBST to standby 20-30 DDs at TPY to do sv90....
and even blasted SBST for not operating sv94...there is free shuttle from Eunos and why SBST want to operate sv94? it is public holiday/sunday, and SBST need to pay OT to their BCs.. so who is going to bear the additional wages?

again this self-proclaim guy. 94 is a weekday service to bridge EWL and PLAB
Noticed today the walking that needs to be done from BPJ Road to DTL2 MRT is quite a bit. Hence, I don't think many people would like to transfer from 190 to DTL2 given that you will spend 10 mins just to do the transfer.
This also indicates why 190 loading still hasn't dropped.
wah, so many people interested in bus
Cameo Spotting threads can last half a year if they are created only after the previous one reaches 2000 posts.
It is already the last day of May, now it has only 269 posts.
When the Tuas MRT stations open, I guess route 182 will be shortened to Tuas Bus Terminal, while route 192 will be amended to ply the entire Upper Jurong Road to cover Pasir Laba camp.
